Hi everybody!
Jean-O sent me some seeds to test out, some photos.. MJ12, Way 2 Good, and a cross breed - Killing Field x Original Haze x Way 2 Good.
This will be my journal to document this journey towards greatness!
First, here is the latest photo:
I started 1 seed of each last Saturday and so far two have sprouted tails and went into the dirt..the only one that has not sprouted a tail yet is the MJ12 Project, so I started a second seed last night.
Starting out the seeds with a wet paper towel in a baggie…so far this is the first time I didn’t get a seed to crack. After about 2 days, Way 2 Good and the cross strain cracked and went into dirt Monday.
This morning Way 2 Good and the Killing Fields cross strain broke ground.
As you can see, Way 2 Good barely popped out, but it’s there. The Killing Field cross is looking pretty good.
For all intents and purposes this will be Day 1 for these girls.
All 3 strains are starting out indoors, as the weather in Michigan cannot make up its mind…it’s 70° F today and will be 40 on Sunday.
My goal is to get them big quick indoors and move them outside around mid-May.
My plan is to update at least weekly, so check back to see the progress.
And as always, all tips and tricks are welcomed and appreciated.

Day 8
Way 2 Good is doing great! She is coming along nicely. Second set of leaves have started coming in.
The Cross strain is doing great too! Also on her second set of leaves.
Both got a light dose of Fox Farms Big Bloom to kick start them and I am trying to get them as big as I can in the next few weeks before they are going outdoors.
But… 2 seeds down, no sprouts of the MJ12 Project. I’ll toss another one into the paper towel in a little bit and hope I get lucky… third times the charm, right?

Day 18
Bet ya thought I almost forgot about ya…
I didn’t…just, you know…life is lifeing
Way 2 Good is doing great, a little leggy, but I am not worried.
And the Cross Strain is short and squat, but looking healthy
Both are doing good, getting hand watered daily, misted, and I have been running a humidifier for about a hour each day to keep the RH up.
I did give them some more Big Bloom to help them grow quick. About two more weeks, maybe three, and they’re going outside.

Day 34 I think
Way 2 Good is looking great and ready to go outside.
The Cross strain is also going well.
Both will be moved outside this weekend so the roots have room to grow and I get to watch these plants take off.

Sorry everyone, I got so busy with getting the garden ready that I forgot about my posts…
Anyway, both plants were moved outside on Sunday. They are taking to the new environment very well. They will be getting a top dressing soon with Fox Farms Cultivation Nation Veggie.
Here is the Way 2 Good
Some bugs are getting to her, so I have to deal with that. Any suggestions???
And the Cross strain is doing great.
Both are branching out and I have a feeling they are about to take off with all of the extra room.

Day 48
Both plants are loving the outdoors and I swear I can see them grow on a daily. The Cross Strain (Killing Field x Original Haze x Way 2 Good) is definitely winning right now, but the Way 2 Good is just about to GO!
