Today I received my Vivosun dehumidifier.
I wanted to replace the home dehumidifier that I noticed was out of calibration and could not be recalibrated, with something that was actually designed to be used in a grow tent environment.
Here’s everything that came in the box.
You’ll notice the main dehumidifier unit, a couple of filters, a drain hose, some ductwork (if you want to keep the dehumidifier outside of the tent) a temperature/humidity probe and an instruction manual.
Quite the small drip pan, but it does include a drain line, so that you can not have to worry about continuously emptying it out.
Here it is with the filter installed and then with the optional ductwork.
A few shots from the user manual showing proper install installation.
And last, but not least-
here it is inside of my tent!
I decided not to use the ductwork and just run it directly inside of the tent.
The best part is that it plays well with my controller that I run allowing me to program on off times, humidity or VPD on/off triggers, ect ect.
And like I said, it uses a humidity probe to determine the temperature/humidity of the environment, and that can be recalibrated as necessary.
