Hey dude, grow lookin nice as always. Did you have a living coco instructions thread somewhere?
It would be a lot to go through but I will help you with living coco coir if that’s something you would dig !
That’s something Ive been thinking of trying also!
Hi @Dankstyle-J
That’s a nice jungle my friend, I fight the same battle like you with high temperature especially running both rooms with 20/4 light schedule. Today I switch to 12/12 running all only from 8 to 8 and hope for a bit colder nights but it looks like it will work.
I got you covered with the living coco it’s about as easy as it comes an the reusable factor with the coir is effective an cost friendly.
Yes it’s definitely a challenge with summer temperatures I have to say the healing path strains are holding up great
I’m lucky I got a skylight for the autos running lights during the day I can’t pull off
More seedlings then I need from wall ice cheeks, horchata, mutant horchata ,kerala skunk x3 frozen hills (frozen rose xthe hills auto )x3the kerala skunks are super old I still got a great germ rate the horchata is my own s2 as the frozen hills is also mine I still got the pre 98 bubba big an ready for next round as well
So in a basic rundown, how would I prepare the coco for planting, and what’s the basic feed regimen for say, a basic autoflower.
I use down to earth pro organic coco a then I add my admendments .i mix worm castings an compost along with the things I want in my mix I like down to earth products there’s a million things that can be added it just depends on preference I like kelp ,neem seed meal ,soybean meal ,bio live ,vegan feed an rice water an rice in mix the main idea is feeding microbes lots of admendments do this
How is watering compared to regular coco? Does it still drain super quick with all the amendments? I’m basically using a 50/50 peat/coco mix already, and it acts like regular soil.
Watering is a lil more then soil I get fast drainage an what I see as more water intake from the plant meaning to me the roots explode in living coco I think the more years it’s reused the better it gets .
