I’ve grown a few of those. The buds were very red, but nothing special with the taste/smell. How is the cross with Livers?
The LBX1 lent a poopy gas smell to her…
She’s actually extremely loud.
They look to be struggling a bit so I’ll say 3 weeks? And yeah you rw looks bone dry
You’ve got yourself a jungle there!
@GasPlease …have you seen the summary button…?..
Condenses all the info in a thread…might help anyone skimming it…![]()
If u only have 1 dripper and that half cap over it u will definitely need someone with experience to let u know if u are already under doing it on the water even if pump and everything was working flawlessly!
Before I switched I ran my pump for 10min every 4hr48min. That gives you 5 evenly spaced out feeds in 24hrs. Also lights are on 24hrs. You don’t want to feed when lights out.
I have seen it but haven’t tested it. I think I’m going to start the 420scrog topic over here on discourse tonight. I was trying to wait for the man, the myth, the legend but he’s MIA so…
Yes sir ![]()
2 weeks and 2 days, i increased ppfd today cuz it was sitting on about 200 think lil bit too low for them, now about 350-400 yeah they look lil bit struggling, rw is heavy afterall, waiting for valves to come will try to tune drip system lil bit.. vpd now with 77f temp sits at .8-.9… cant see much top growth but roots are almost all the way down, wondering if they will start to shine soon or its just another fail..
Never a failure if you learn something then it becomes a lesson.
I’d try and kick them temps up to like 80-83°, i bet you almost anything your leaf temp is currently 72-74°, and then keep humidity around 70%. 350-400ppfd is a good amount for them at that size. Normally we start ours the moment they poke up out of the starter cubes most of the time it’s not even up out the way just curled up a little at like 250-275ppfd.
I assume it’s an auto?
Light schedule?
Nutes and additives?
EC and feed schedule?
DLI, VPD, EC, pH, res temp, oxygen delivery, etc are all working in harmony. For example you can’t run a high EC without an aggressive DLI and VPD to match. You can’t run high DLI if she doesn’t have the EC(nutes) that need processed and she can’t process those nutes without transpiration(VPD).
auto dp frozen biscotti, ec sits now at 09-1, novamax grow, cal-mag, silica and hydro roots if i have enough space with ec, ph 5.5-5.8 atm hand feeding (3%) of blocks volume, lights 20/4, was giving that ec with low ppfd, maybe it slowed them down this bad trick?
open lines with distribution plates is what I use for coco. No plugging possible. You need a timer that can calibrate in seconds to make it work though. ![]()
im not telling you what to do but what i do with my autos.
As soon as my seedling is settled so 3-5 days old. Stem is getting thicker, those single blade trues are formed maybe the first set of fingered leaves are forming. I give them 40 dli at 20/4 that would be roughhly 550ppfd.
At the same timeframe I give them 2.0ec and by day 20 until late flower they get 2.6-2.8ec.
Your vpd numbers are good for seedling and early veg but after day 14ish and she has good leaves Im increasing it to 1-1.2. Then when you see pistils 1.1-1.3. After stretch ends 1.2-1.5.
Im supposed to be working so that will have to do for now. Also soak those rockwool blocks every feed.
I have run five lines on one pump. I adjust for individual plants by having clamp type adjusters on the lines. They just squeeze the line to reduce deliveries as needed for consistent runoff for all plants. Actually, I am pretty sure I had close to ten lines on one pump before I went with a separate res and pump for my solos.
Anyway, with flow adjusters on the lines, you can run as many lines as your pump can handle. I actually use a sump pump rather than the small irrigation pumps usually employed in this mischief, so it can handle any number of 1/4 lines. ![]()
Oh damn I bet that was good! Love that zucchini too,I grow more than we can eat every year.
