Day 68
The experiment is proving true so far. I did a defol today on A and B, and the smells and tastes are completely different. Some may say its just different plants, but same strain, same conditions, just one gets fertilizer and the other doesn’t.
Here is Plant A before a defol. Nice shade of green, bushy, nice buds…
And here is Plant B. She’s small and draining the leaves of their color.
But, the buds are getting some colors to them.
So today, I decided it’s time for a defol.
Plant A was some work, but there’s a lot more light getting in now and room for a breeze. She’s spicy! I don’t know how else to explain it, peppery I guess, but as I was trimming up the lower branches, I popped a couple of buds I cut in my mouth and ya… spicy

Now, I went to do a defol on Plant B, but I just pulled the dead leaves off and that was about that. She’s small, but man does she have a sweet smell and taste to her…right up my alley.
So far, Plant A is winning by size, color, and bud size, but Plant B is what I am hunting for … smell and taste.
It’s going to be a fun run and I cannot wait til the end.
