Hey everyone, lots of new stuff here! It was time for a change, so I’m going back to organic methods to make things easier and hopefully cheaper down the road. I’m starting with BAS 3.0 and recycling and repeating the process. I also have BAS craftblend and I had build a bloom. Plus, I had Terp teas bloom and bloom boosters if needed. Then, I also picked up some COM EWC and Lobster compost. I might get some build a flower, but I might just stick with this for now. I planted one photoperiod in each junior planing on a short veg, maybe just 4 weeks. Once the current photos finish, these three will have a 5x5 area to themselves. I filled the pots (a little too full) with 3.0 and a couple of handfuls of heady seed, starting in the middle. I mixed 2 tablespoon per box of Dynomyco throughout. I watered that all in with GL kelp, Bioag full power, Raw amino, omina, yucca, hydroguard, and mammoth p. Let it set overnight to let the temperatures come up, and I planted the seeds the following day, today.
Okay, let’s talk seeds! Some great friends have sent me some new stuff to try out. @Antonio_DutchPassion (I think he’s not here yet) sent me PMK, and Six x STC. Also, @Jean-O sent me some Grim Reaper. I hope these guys don’t mind me sharing these together. I know they’ll both be amazing—both of these guys’ work is always a favorite of mine!
Here’s a little trick I picked up tonight that might help you figure out how the pictures are organized: If you type “[grid]” without the quotes, a grid will appear. Then, just put your cursor in the grid and hit upload. This will upload all your pictures into the grid. They’ll all come out in a block, and you can click to enlarge any of them you want. Otherwise, they’re all large and in a row, depending on what you prefer.
Good luck..Im still on me salts using Crop Salt . But might do organic in the veg tent . That company you have I have seen good things come out of those inputs. One time I mixed like 20 different bags together and is was booming
Great minds think a like. My blue cheese scrog is 1-2 weeks from harvest and I decided to go back to organic soil but up my game. Just grabbed all my ingredients yesterday. I’ll be tuned here.
With Photos in Juniors, I would highly suggest only vegging your girls until they show signs of sex. You can very easily get behind in the nutrients and not being able to convert enough over to be available to the plant. I have developed some creative way to help with that, but why do it if not needed.
I really don’t think Build a Flower is that cost effective. You already have earthworm castings and the lobster compost. You can add a little bit of that craft blend and build a bloom and have the same thing or a bit better.
While it’s not that important with you growing photos this time, There are quite a changes you can do on the initial setup to help Autos hit the ground running. It doesn’t involve buying new stuff, just a bit of changing of the procedures.
When I get this next grow going , My new 2x4 Gorilla tent will have 3 autos in Jrs…2 Sour Stompers and 1 Vidamints. I’ll fully document it, so you can check it out to see if it fits your thinking. I think it helps considerably with the auto getting root system established with the wicking area as quickly as possible…without stunting.
Thanks bill for sure tag me when you get that going I am interested. Appreciate you telling me about the compost that is what I like to hear cause I can the LC and EWC local cheap much better then ordering.
Hell yeah brother any questions feel free to ask I also have a couple of journals similar to this on the old site just not with this soil I was using coast of Maine then
If you use larger pat you have more nutes avail in the end otherwise I would use Buddha bloom to finish flower (its organic) if it needs more inputs or some sort of compost tea,
Maybe after after you get your feet wet again organically, you might want to think about making some of your own fertilizer. Making FFA, Fermented Fruit Juice, is very easy! The end product lasts for years, just common canning techniques. The finished product PH is around 3.5, so it’s very stable.
It’s pretty potent stuff too!
Then there’s FAA, Fish Amino Acid! I don’t make the waste fish version, That’s just too smelly for me! I make mine with wild caught salmon. It’s kind of expensive but I don’t need a whole lot because it goes very far. One of the best attributes is that stimulates Mycorrhizal growth, Significantly. And being a great amino acid! In a bed or a big pot, I will add some in the water to wet down my top dressings along with any inoculate. The Aminos will help with the uptake of the nutrients along with what it brings itself. You can definitely the next day after watering with it. You can feel it in the leaves and easily see it.
I hope you know what trying to do here. I’m trying to stimulate your inner canna geek!
I’m also trying to stir my ass into get my next grow on the road!
Thanks brother yeah I probably should for the photos have a little bigger box but I don’t wanna buy any right now so this is gonna work. Once they get filled all the way and I start mounding the nute pile they’ll hold 1 cubic ft of soil and a gallon of water in the Rez
If you have the fish why not just put it int he pot lol I saw a guy a while back put a hole fish in a jar and feed his plants and it worked lol I don’t use fish stuff anymore always adds a weird flavor..but I do like lobster and crab meal. I want to try some Insect frass one day I think that’s the only thing I haven’t tried
While I don’t really recommend it, The fish I use is very clean and inoculate used to ferment is just EM1, the results DO NOT smell or TASTE bad. Part of that is because of the pineapple I add for the enzymes to help shorten the ferment process.
There’s no way this stuff causes any kind of bad flavor change in your weed .
Looking good Dab, love threads like these because I don’t use any of these processes and it’s whole new world for me to watch. Can’t wait to watch your grows come along and I hope you’re doing well!
