So yesterday when I transplanted, I had 2 GDP x Mazar sprout in one pot. They were about evenly space so I used an old serrated knife and cut the root ball in half. BUTTT… when I popped them out of the pot, the rootball fell apart! Must have lost half of the roots. Said the hell wit it and planted them anyway…it is a weed afterall lol! Went out a while ago see see how dead they were, figured they’d be fallen over looking wilted. NOPE! They actually looked good! Now I’m sure they will stall for a few days but they just may make it!

@Jean-O

Don’t know if this helps or not for deer, but coons and squirrels it has worked for me. These are solar powered motion detectors lights. I got a 6 pack of them off Amazon for around $30 . I set them low enough to not hit plants that would get light shocked. They do great at being scare lights. I’ve seen a vole turn and run as the light came on.

I have two on each sides of the raised bed and another two protecting the other plants in the background and on the side you can’t see in the picture

For sure I hooked one up on the side of the house and they woofed down the pepper plants with the light on :rofl: I need a dog I know that works but don’t have one now. Jeano sounds like skunks eating the grubs. I had a second skunk die today of lead poisoning from the pellet gun Happy Farming !

Is that particular strain, Maui Waui, available anywhere?
I’m having a flashback to Oahu on West Side.
This old surfer dude, that taught me how to surf, had a girl that looks so much like that it’s pathetic!
He lived right there at Makaha Beach. He was such a nice guy! I have no idea why he befriended me on Makaha Beach one day. Maybe he was laughing his ass off at my attempt to boogie boardin’. He always felt bad smoking in front of me. First time he offered me, I had to no because I’d lose my security clearance if I got popped. I had fun taking a whiff of it and smelling it! it smelled soooooo damn good.

A few days before I was to go home on leave and then to the east coast, I got to go stay by and take a little sample. It’s been such a long time I need one hit was gonna do it… Yeah one hit was it!

It’s some damn long leaves!

They dont have any in stock. Maui Wowie – Ocean Grown Seeds

These were a gift to me and I’ll surely spread the love. :jointman_1_: I planted 4, hopefully at least one male that I’ll transplant to another property and make some beans with it.

That’s an awesome story. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Some strains just stick with you for life. Hope you find that same tropical magic again someday. In the meantime, I’ve been impressed by some of the affordable options coming out of The Seed Pharm.

I think i went looking and they pushed ya towards lumberjack seeds that was down,and their IG account hadn’t posted in yrs. Possible I suppose, but didn’t look good on the outset of looking :thinking: good luck:victory_hand:
