I’ve got the older 3 females who might or might not be seeded…but at this time of year there is no guarantees. So..set some more away and hope I get the cross made early Spring.

If I get the Donkey Dick 50% top pheno…in pink and purple leaf colour..it’s Asking to be the Cheshire Cats Dick…

I grow year ‘round.. weather permitting..
..mother nature is usually Kind…
I grow in Lidls 70 ltr propogators. Having the top has saved my girls a few times when they are very young and they were at risk of stumpying.
I fill the pots with Seedling compost…so..it costs me roughly 10.50 euros per grow.
I reuse the compo in everything…so you will quite often see feral Autos growing in the flower pots where I have reused the compo…
..part of the fun..i always admire their spirit.
I fert very Little…mostly homemade Teas…made from stuff in the garden..
My Indulgence is Bud Candy…because I actually see a difference when I use it..
But..1ltr Bud Candy costs 30 euros and if you use it according to directions..it lasts me a year.
In every 70 ltr pot..I aim to germ 70 seeds..(gardeners handful)..so.. 50% will be males and will be removed..so..35 girls optimum.(and a percentage you lose to late germ etc)
I’ve got 6 x 70 ltr pots..so the possibility of seeing 400 plants per growing cycle.
Two of the 70 ltr pots side by side measure 3 x 3 ft…so you can equate it to an indoor grow room.
In 2 pots…3x3 ft space…possibility of 140 germs..
In a 3x3 grow room…as you might guess this is about max phenos…rather than max bud…but pheno selection floats my boat…
And I make my main bud stash over summer…so winter/Spring is my Playtime.

The First cross is for every frustrated home grower who thinks they don’t have the space to do make their own cross..
I’m going to make this cross in 1 x 20 ltr/5 gallon pot….and everyone has enough space for that.
Background.
The Donkey Dick was the freebie on a 100 euro order I made.
I’ll blame my conditions.
But..the one DD is the only plant that survived.
In the pot on the right…breeder description mainly Sati….I don’t get Satis for pain relief..
But hubby says he does.
1 plant for 100 euro outlay broke my heart…so..pollenated it…get hubby a supply of seed at least.
I pollenated just a couple of bud.
When I dried the seed..I popped a couple in the pot that their mother was in..it was just a germ test to see if it was time to bottle them.
They germed..not great but it was in the lowest point in my season.
That’s them on the right…small but perfectly formed…they have had no night covers.. open to the worst of our winter.
Behind them to the left is the new germs…20 X seed in 5 gallon pot that I’ll be using on this project….…by winter 2026…I’m going to have a Pink/purple leafed plant..with the DD dominant body shape..
Any Bets….?…for Fun obvs…but what do you think my chances are..?…..

We’ve got a picking crew in…(not what you want with 300 Autos on the patio…..)
I left the lids in place to mute any aromas…and…we had dirty rain through the night…it comes up from Africa…gathers moisture from the sea crossing then dumps dirty rain on us
Spain is the square country just above it..so..look at the size of that cloud…it’s hardly gonna Miss is it…?…..
When the dirty rain hits anything…including plant leaves it sets like concrete…and is hard to remove from plants without taking damage…so JahBless those propogator lids..
It also explains why the sky is blocking the sunlight.. normally a Haze will burn off before 11am.
Rain Saturday..that should take it out of the air…
