Things of note. This run will be recycled media.
This run will also be 100% light setting max height from rip. And 24h light cycle.
March 1st evening they hit the dirt.
[Edit.. some thoughts were lost..
Here they are.]
Watered everything about 1/4 liter on Friday.
Blue Lights had popped the surface
Later that night the Bronson was up.
Next morning the PMR was breaking through and later in the evening the Nightmare had surfaced.
I will update next weekend if anything significant occurs otherwise it’ll be a fortnight.
A small update.
Nursery Girls are slowly growing, i gave them a drink on Friday. Temps dropped a bit from the snow storm/blizzard we just endured… got nearly a foot of the fluffy stuff (earned a snow day from work)
My thought is to give them a nutrient boost while they transition to veg mode. Was thinking a tiny bit of guano and some kelp meal and worm castings. nothing over the top or crazy amounts. I also have some fish n crab meal, but i put that in towards the flowering phase…
I dont know for sure it is inert: i mix Happy Frog n Ocean Forest with worm castings and a few DtE dry amendments. This run my medium sat for a while so in a sense i am just making sure there is some premium feed options in there when they really start photosynthesizing and putting out mass…
Edit I use dechlorinated tap water. I do not mix nutes (salts).
I live in the Mid-West, we got dumped about a foot of snow on the 16th..it was forecasted as Blizzard conditions, Do Not travel.. so the boss called off = Snow day! To be political - closed due to inclement weather conditions.
mind you; it was close to 60 the day before and near 70 the following Friday, hell by Wednesday much of it had melted (was over 50). It was enough to cause a little havoc though. And a welcomed day from going into the office.
no chance of it EVER snowing where I am. When I lived in London it snowed only very occasionally and it always resulted in mayhem, even just a few cm’s.
Another Friday pic. I did rotate them 1/4 pot to the clockwise direction.
The Bronson is still in the vigor lead. She is just flat out - out pacing the lot. The Blue lights are second rank and the P.M.R. And Nightmare are kinda tied.
I went a little too aggressive on the wind training and the P.M.R. Was leaning on me so i gave her a little bracing wire and moved her to a spot that gets less wind training - resulting in slightly less dry back. Seems like that top left corner stays a bit more moist. Has me considering moving my lower fan to the opposite side to compensate. Or - doing a daily rotation so each plant gets a ‘break day’ in the lower velocity spot.
The Nightmare is also not super thirsty atm. Her leaf structure leans more indica morphology, i think she will have tighter nodes and may gtow pretty squat. I guess we shall see.
Girls are looking good though. I did not top dress yet, but some castings are going in soon (this week) so i am sure some kelp wont hurt any progress here.
