I was one of the lucky few to get the opportunity to grow the new @SAWNEY-BEAN White Gen 4 many, many thanks Sawney. I had grown the Gen 3 around 10 times, possibly more, and absolutely loved it, so if these are anywhere close I’ll be a very happy chappy.
So far all going to plan all have their 2nd set of leaves, so it should be onwards and upwards from here all on plain tap water for the first week or so, then gradually start adding the Megacrop a little at a time.
The Sawney Nightmare in a 1 gal pot is coming along nicely hopefully she’ll be pretty much done by the time the Whites get their growing boots on we’ll see
Morning of day 7 and looking good so far, mostly. The slightly funky one is looking ok ish, nothing I haven’t seen before and they usually turn out just fine.
I’ll start adding the Megacrop from tomorrow, around ¼ gram per litre to start, then gradually increase as the days go by
I thought I had two Ultimate White’s in solo cups, but turns out to be one and a Fastbuds Strawberry and banana I did wonder where that bugger went when I was doing the other grow, the Nightmare popped first and I didn’t close the zip lock bag properly so the paper towel dried up a bit, so when I picked it up again all the seeds moved This one is definitely an Ultimate, you can tell from the amount of frosty goodness on her. She didn’t get the memo and decided to split off into two separate branches, but instead of binning her I thought I’d see how she gets on.
I actually have 3 of the Ultimates, this little mongstrosity and another couple in the other tent. Two of them are more on the fruity side and one which kicks your nostrils right in the bollocks very Chemdoggy.
Well they seem to be enjoying the Megacrop, some are already wider than the pots been feeding them around ¾ a litre a day of around ¼ a gram per litre of Megacrop and I’ll give them their first feed to run off in a couple of days.
As with most of my White grows, they always have their wee foibles. One has started putting out 3 branches per node, which isn’t a problem, in fact the more the merrier other than that, they have been pretty well behaved, another one has a leaf finger missing but that’s no problem. They are getting a little taller than I’d like, as I usually have the light a bit closer to them, but with the Nightmare and the other two, I can’t get it as close as usual.
Thankfully they should all be getting topped either tomorrow or the next day.
Hi my old mucker, how you doing yeah I do miss our little battles, hopefully there’ll be a few more coming up soon I seem to have better luck the smaller the pot have a good one mate
