Bud Candy anyone?

I just bought some Bud Candy. I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for feeding it. The directions suggest feeding during flower but maybe there are other ways to use it for autos. I believe @Man-O-Green used to recommend it. Thx

Hi @paulg Yes you can use it all grow long but IMPO it is a waste of nutrients until the last two or three weeks of flower. I personally use it two weeks prior to harvest and then one week before harvest I use molasses. It is in the res all week so the plants getting fertigated with it every day. I find it to noticeably improve the terpene profile - the nose knows.

I used to use molasses, it was lovely stuff, but I found that I was very inconsistent with the strength… I’d dilute a random amount of blackstrap molasses with boiling water, cool it down and keep it in an old coke bottle… then mix a random amount of that in with my feed.

I switched to Bud Candy purely cos I was sold on the idea that it was gonna make my gear taste even nicer, and I think it does.

I use it daily, adding 1ml/L (the bottle says 2ml/L) to my regular H&G feed schedule in the last 4 weeks, basically introducing it when I start the PK13/14.

Thanks MOG/TT. I should have mentioned, I grow in organic soil. I’ll probably add a little through the grow but focus on the last few weeks before harvest. Nice to hear it improves the terps!
