So I took a pic when I got home, its lights out but I wanted to see if any of the nutrient lockout/ph issues spread at all and it looks like it hasn’t. This is a good representation of how bad it got over the 3 days since my last pic post.

Forgot to update over the weekend.
Idk whats going on with this plant. I figured the yellowing and rust spots were coming from my water ph exceeding what the soil could naturally buffer. Ive calibrated my probe twice, it reads 7.0 and 4.0 solution perfectly. Spring water actually varies from container to container between 7.6 and 8.1. Like I said Ive been adjusting down to the 6.2 to 6.4 range and keeping the soil moist but its still getting worse. It slowed down but over the weekend it started spreading again.
Flowers are still building and the plant is chugging along but shes gettong a teeny bit uglier every day and I just dont get why, maybe I overcharged the soil, or microbes, I really dont know.
Smells are beginning to get very very strong though, its like opening a hot oven and feeling that heat wrap around you, but with scent. Its got no sweetness to it anymore just a very strong chem/gas/funk.
Not much else to say other than I watered this morning with 1.5 gallons of 6.3 ph water and a full dose of BuildABloom (1.5tsp).

If anyone checking in can brainstorm with me Id love to know what you guys think is going on. Light is and 60% power (about 250W) Temps 75-80°F and the rh usually about 53-60%. Got my oscillating clip on at 5/10 and blowing over the entire canopy and my 6" exhaust is running at about 60%. Its actually a lot lower overall than I have run at this point in a grow but Ive never grown a plant out this big if that has anything to do with it. Maybe its just too big for a 10 gallon of completely organic inputs and the plant is outpacing the microbiology. Thats all I can think of.

Could it be something with the light? Looking from the top it seems the highest and middle parts are most affected. Is there any uv light in the LED? Do you by any chance have a PPFD/light meter?
For the rest your Kerosene Krash lady seems to be doing allright.
Could also be what you say, the 10gallon pot doesn’t support fully the need of the plant.
How big was the tent again?

@Antonio sorry I got a phone call when I was responding, air conditioners died. Accidentally posted instead of leaving it as a draft.
Yes my tent is a 3x3, but normally with the photone app at 60% and about 12-15inches away which is what most of those tops are, it should be about 650-700ppfd. Not too insane but I guess if the microbes aren’t pumping out plant available nutrients to keep up with the light intensity stuff like this would happen. Maybe I should start watering with my Build A Bloom more often instead of once a week like the bag says. Its about 10-15% immediately available chelated nutrients and the rest are micronized for quick break down. I just dont want to overfeed.

So Im pretty sure tomorrow or Thursday Im getting a new central ac unit put in, not sure quite which day yet. The guy that came out and evaluated my old ac was cool. But the guy that came to measure everything check out how the install is gonna go, was kinda off putting. He kept looking at my grow tent even though everything was off and my exhaust was running just enough to keep the smell in.
To be safe I think Im just gonna “bury” it in large cardboard boxes. It’ll still get plenty of airflow but Im not taking any chances. My landlord was here too but he didnt come in, and he actually left before we were done downstairs. But the ac guy sat in my driveway for 20 minutes after he was done.
Maybe Im just overthinking it but something didn’t sit right with the 2nd guy to me.

So I found out that guy wont be here for the installation. He is just like their consultant. So I dont think I will see that guy again

Ive thought about it but I think my problem stemmed from inconsistent environment. Without my ac working during the hottest parts of the day, I think the heat, and humidity was causing transpiration issues and heat stress. My light is definitely not to strong for it right now.
Also during this heat wave I completely forgot to take my water temp into account. I noticed it Monday, my water was like 79°F. With that and humidity I just couldnt get rid of I think thats what was causing my issues. Hopefully after the new ac comes and the inside of my house stabilizes it will have much less trouble regulating and transpiring.
Ive actually been having to give the water I use ice baths to get it down between 68-70°F, seems like thats helping as the yellowing stopped spreading when I started doing that. Im hoping the lack of dissolved oxygen in the water didnt get root rot or anything like that started.

We’re having unusually high humidity right now. I have a big dehumidifier in the grow dungeon, that drains into a 2-gallon bucket. Usually I empty the bucket every couple of days, when it’s 1/2 full. This morning the bucket was near overflowing in just 1 day. The Vivoson Aerolush C08 AC I installed last month is keeping the temperature under control, even though my space is bigger than their recommendation.

I keep my water bottles in my tent so I’m not shocking the girls particularly during the winter. I try to keep my tent in the low 80’s through most of the grow and have never had issues using the warm water for what it’s worth.
Just noticed you are probably growing dwc so disregard.

My basement is about 850sq feet and my dehumidifier is rated for 1500, but yesterday and monday it was just not keeping up 89°F in the house and it was constantly running set at 45% but reading 60 all day. I have it on a continuous drain and I had to modify it a little bit because it would get vapor locked. Now I put a air hole in the hose right below the connection, that solved the vapor lock, now its basically a steady trickle. It is managing the humidity better now.

I also put the dehumidifier on a stand so gravity could help pull down the water. Ever since it hasnt backed up.

Figured I would make a little update.
I do think that my dehumidifier was its own enemy as it wasn’t draining continuously. A vapor lock or surface tension would stop it in the hose. Now that its on a stand and I have a small hole in the line it continuously drains the way its suppose to.
Didn’t take pics yesterday but the day started out good 75F in the tent with 58% humidity but by noon it was 82 in the tent and humidity was hovering between 61-66%.
This is where Im at today with the modifications to the dehumidifier.
Vpd not accurate, no leaf temp entered or I put it at 2 degrees colder than room I think. Much better than yesterday for sure.

It definitely got worse since my last update but Im really hoping that after my ac gets fixed and the environment is more stable these problems slow down and the plant starts putting weight on because this will be week 5 of flower and they are swelling but not by much.

Some selective defoliation would help with the transpiration issue. Those giant overlapping leaves are surely blocking airflow and creating micro climates in the canopy.
As @Antonio mentioned the lights could be causing her to burn thru mag faster than shes able replace it. How many hrs on? At 750 ppfd at 18 is 48.5 dli. Like you said nothing crazy but maybe enough or maybe its a combination of problems.

The light is on 12/12 right now. And yes I probably should, I was thinking about defoliating more this weekend, I just wanted to keep as much as I could as it was starting to yellow up before I flipped to flower and I wanted as many sugar factories as I could get.
This always happens to me and I was hoping that in organics it either wouldn’t be as severe or hopefully wouldn’t happen at all. But you are right I think its a combination of things. Maybe I just need to be extra methodical next run and keep track of EVERYTHING to see where Im screwing stuff up. Like regular slurry tests, ph adjusting my water every time. I do think that I overcharged the soil with both food and microbes before flower though which might be some of what Im seeing now.

So I did a little defoliation and exposed a lot of lower budsites to direct light, but I did notice that since my ac got fixed and the humidity and temps are way down that she is starting to put on weight already. I knew that it was gonna cause problems but I guess I didnt know how much.
She’s still pretty ugly and unfortunately a lot of the fan leaves I took off were already being cannibalized so that chlorosis and rust spots will probably spread to the healthier leaves, but its ok. Im hoping now that everything is under control so to speak, that it happens very slowly. She is DEFINITELY drinking again. I had to water 2 times today, not the first time but its the first time in a while.
There are some brown/red pistils but those are from me bumping them and moving things around while looking at stuff. I still have about 3-5 weeks left depending on pheno.

I think its time for another update. Not sure Im just riding this out and not paying attention to what day it is anymore.
Since the ac unit was replaced my plant has made a drastic turn around. Theres still some yellow spreading but that was to be expected after cutting a bunch of foliage off on Saturday to expose more of the lowers. Some leaves are finally beginning to develop that nice shiney cuticle layer and it looks like budsites are starting to swell up a bit.
I think Ive narrowed down my overall issues during this grow and it comes down to my air conditioning failing on my but more so I believe I overfed by a lot. After doing some digging, even a heavy feeder in BuildASoil 3.0 in a 10gal shouldnt have been top dressed as much as I did. I actually shot messages to the build a soil team and that was their consensus. I should have only done 2-3 light top dresses over the course of the whole grow, so what was happening was the microbes break down the organic inputs amd the plant wasn’t taking up the bulk of it leaving salt build up in the soil and I agree because the bottom rim of my bag is all salt build up. Now I know for the future. Either way shes pushing through it and I have been doing ph adjusted water only and Im still cutting my spring water 50/50 with ro water.
Light is sitting at 70% and Ive run the hangers around the cross supports on the ceiling so the light physically cant go any higher than it is now. Photone app says about 890ppfd in the center dropping off to about 600-650ppfd on the edges. Good enough especially with the problems Ive created. Looking back through the journal Im just getting into week 5 of flower now, 3-4 weeks left at most.
