Tonight’s harvest is Fairy Cake from Mephisto Genetics! This is a cross of Toof Decay x Iced N Baked.
Amazingly enough, these have been sitting in my collection since the Iced N Baked release, and I never grew them!
I didn’t have any testers left so I got to delve into my old collection. I asked my very first Patron to choose what I planted, and Peski chose these.
I got two distinct phenotypes.. The shorter one is definitely more reminiscent of Iced N Baked. She is super sweet on the nose with some fruit in there as well..
The taller one really reminds me of regular Toof Decay. She has a much more citrusy aroma, Sour at first but definitely some furniture polish aroma happening.
These plants both got topped on day 18, and the shorter one got some LST to spread out the branches.
5 gallon fabric pots. Coast of Maine Stonington Blend on the bottom half. Coast of Maine Seed starter on the top half. They got a quarter cup of Flower Girl on day 30, and I did give them a few doses of Biobizz Cal Mag
Total time from sprout was 74 days. Didn’t get a lot of amber on these ladies. I probably could have let them go a little longer but I’m running out of space.
They finished at 29, and 25 inches tall. The taller one is a little more fluffy, but the shorter one is super dense. I’m going to guess about a 5 oz yield (actual yield will go here on my website)

Hey buddy; odd question for you. I know you do a lot of Patreon stuff; there’s a plugin for the forum software that allows some implementation of Patreon. Would that be of some interest to you if I invested some time into what that looks like?
Hmmm that’s a good question. My wife is handling most of the posting and management. I’m just giving her the content. I’ve only got like 6 legit patrons right now, The rest are on a free trial. I don’t know how much work it would be on your end, but don’t go out of your way to do it just for me.
The patreon does automated stuff with Discord as well.. My son is handling all of that LOL

Toof Decay, wow that’s an ancestor now… recalling mine from the first release, she had a peculiar chemmy nuance to the aroma… Sounds like you’re getting a Lemon Pledge smell from the one? Nice! … a few years back I had a custom photo cross NevLime (Nev. Haze x Lime1) that was like lime pledge… had my snoot in the damn jar every day for a while
I/We (AFN) really miss the old Mephisto… They got established here before they ever sold a bean, we got to see a lot of the process leading up to it and lots of discussions along the way. When they launched, peep’s were scrumming to snag them packs! Stayed that way for years and years too… Couldn’t ask for a better start, and such a boon for AFN too
Then came some troubled times for them (loss of the original farm), us/with us (their website problems over and over again, douchey rep’s and some ass-hat members), and since they pretty much ghosted us and never looked back… Nice, huh?! Can’t deny, social media shit played it’s part too; a little site like this can’t compete with that…
