3,600 euros…faint-fainting..we’ll be on frozen chicken portion or minced beef for months…

But…he came back with them fitted ..walked in and heard the TV..at my volume…which is amazing…and I think the Audiologists got the hint about keeping them as low tech as possible..

We have to go in soon and get him adjusted to my voice…laughs1..oh gawd…I’ll call her a miracle worker if she can get him tuned into that…yetta-smoking..mind…getting him to take any notice of what he hears would require an act of god…jointman.. JahBless…I still believe in miracles…

Nice color already and still throwing out fresh. That’s going to get big.

5 interviewees lined up today.

The first already called in to say they can’t make it.

Let’s see how this shakes out!

My last interviewee of the day is the girlfriend of an employee I had to fire for being a coke addict.

Lol my spell correct turned that into cock addict. That may be true too (no judgments.)

Did you know that the falling snow in that movie was pure asbestos?

I worked with asbestos a lot in my youth, but it hasn’t caught up with me yet. I was a FRP fabricator making corrosion resistant tanks, ducts, etc and we each had a bucket of asbestos dust on our workbench to mix with resins as a thickener. I used to buy bales of asbestos in Barranquilla and carry them home on the bus to Taganga (for building cold-molded wood/epoxy boat hulls, and repairing dugout canoes), I worked HVAC removing asbestos wrapped pipes, and did demolition of plaster/lath reinforced with asbestos fibers. I feel fine, can still jog a mile or 2 at 75. Although they did note that I have lung “constellations,” spots of light that show up on CT and MRI scans, like a starry sky. Maybe the asbestos scare was hype.

I encountered it intermittently in the military…usually in old buildings, some shipboard stuff, but not a lot.

I like to think that our constant inhalation of sticky cannabinoids is keeping the harmful asbestos particles locked down, and encapsulated…

Morning/afternoon everyone!

Hi @Mossy - Yep, weather is turning the corner here. Been back and forth from 4C to 26C, most days this week are 13-25C. Not bad but not fully spring. Had a frost warning Monday & last night. Should be out of that fully.

I have 12 pepper plant seedlings started indoors and quite a few volunteer tomato seedlings already above ground outdoors. I hadn’t even laid the soaker hose into the planters yet.

Grass seed in various stages of repopulating. Not sure what else I’m going to run this year. The mint is in full swing just in time for the Kentucky Derby next weekend.

@Man-O-Green - consulting the wizards book before heading out shopping this afternoon. Those burritos/chorizo/beans sound like the ticket for dinner.
