DLI is plant specific from what they are finding out i believe. Most of my plants love being blasted with heavy light. The current DLI graphic is based on old outdated information from the way im understanding.

Iāve pushed um pretty hard at times and I think some strains just donāt like it too high. Itās like a plant that like partial sun or full sun. Probably depends on the lineage and region and whatās been bread into it

I cant remember if it was the Dude Grows or the Jug Dealers podcast that they touched a bit on DLI and plant specific dealing with lineage. I tend to agree with it being plant specific.

KFxOHxW2G just showed sex last week, and giving good stretch already on day 36:
MJ-12 is taking her time, barely showing pistils. Today is day 50:

I just finished 3 phenotypes of the MJ-12 and all 3 went 11 weeks in flower. 1 probably could have done one more week. They were painfully slow into flower. Thatās definitely coming from the Northern Lights #5 x Haze side of the pairing..

Iām a bit shocked at how fast the KFOHxW2G is cruising into bloom, fuzzy crowns already!

NL5Hz runs about the same bloom time that KF does, no speed queens hereā¦ LOL - guess weāll have to see how some other W2Gās behave, but so far this one carries some good speed despite the long cycle parentage..

The W2G lineage is The Rev x Sour Bubble x Apple Fritter. The Rev has some ruderallis in it which gave is some speed in flower. The Rev is Animal Mint Cookies x Straw Dawg EV. My best guess on the flowering time would be 10 to 13 weeks.

MJ-12 is 56, flowering hard now. Compact structure has required a lot of trimming to get any air and light down the middle her skirt.
KF x OH x W2G is 42. I hope sheās done stretching. I had to raise the light again today.

Those are looking pretty nice! The MJ-12 do take a bit more defoliation but they also throw some nice thick chunky flowers.

All things considered in the KFOHzWTG, thatās not too bad for stretching. That OHz was a super leggy plant as you can imagine! KF has a lot of Haze in it too, so thank gawds the WTG is taming that this well 
I like how sheās budding, nugg-studded, another gift from the WTG sideā¦
Very nice work on the MJ12 Mara, sheās well set for the show now!

Iām using three 200w lights for each shelf, mostly because they fit between the joists above in case I need max headroom. It does give flexibility for different sized plants.

@Mara_Cachafa looking real nice. I can see what the W2G added to the KF x OHZ. The flowers are larger and the structure is a little more compact from its mother.

MJ-12 is chugging along on day 70. I probably should defoliate more.
KFxOHxW2G is 56. Other than topping on day 15, and dropping a wire hoop between the colas to spread the leads a bit a week or 2 later, I havenāt had to do much. She didnāt require much trimming because the colas promptly stretched out of the canopy into clean air. Those long colas are starting to get heavy.
