I like APE. What’s the Puerto Rico strain like?

I haven’t grown shrooms but I’ll tag along and watch.

I remember them being good, real good. :joy: An old friend from there I used to run with in the 90’s would get some now and then. I remember splitting an 1/8th with him right before we left his house to go to mine, and boy were we tripping before we got home! We passed a county copper leaving a business or something and he eagle eye’d us. I hit the first backroad and nailed it. 25 minute drive took an hour as we got lost roaming the back roads I’d never been on. Good times!

:tiphat:Howdy! I don’t know how much help I’ll be, I’m learning too! I’ll post what I do and when and we’ll see how it goes. If they both fail I’ll try again. Right now I’m just keeping them in the dark in a doubled up tote and in the 70’s f.

I mixed up the bags on 4/20 after they got to roughly 20% colonized. Today we’re seeing spots of the mycelium starting to grow again.

I’m thinking about getting one kit and trying it.
I know it’s expensive, but they guarantee results
And it’s easy

I don’t know the price currently but it’s no necessarily expensive considering the time saved.

I know a guy who bought precolonised grain and divided it in to 2, then placed each in new sterile grain bags. Very soon he had 2 full bags, grew one and divided the other one etc. That’s what the guys selling spawn bags do.

Kinda like kombucha in a way

Maybe I’ll give them a try then.

I paid $30 usd for each. Satsanga Genetics @Satsangamyco on X

This does look promising @WildBill and the expense isn’t excessive, as you don’t need to buy any other kit, such as a still air box, monotub, Martha tent with humidifier and carbon filtered air etc.

I can’t see any mention of what strains they are selling… the only hint is the fact that they stress that the product is only for (ahem) "microscopy purposes’, and that they are "happy’ mushrooms!

Yeah man… DO IT!!! :mushroom: :mushroom:
