Here is my little buddy Alfie
Well pet loving gro peeps, the first pic of my buddy Penny is my handle to the left. Here are a couple more:
Tummy rub position, otherwise in my home known as the “chicken” position (resemblance of exposed pink tummy to bare chicken breast, for anyone wondering
).
She may be little, but she will out hike me, as well as most peeps I hike with.
That will do for this installation, so hello to the gro peeps from Penny.
Good to see you over here @trailanimal! Nice pups too. ![]()
Baxter is a bit of a bed hog. He is 9 and getting lazy. Earline the African Gray is 39 this year. She started feather plucking a few years back when her best friend Otis died of cancer. He was our English Bulldog. She still calls for him all the time.
,Well, the cat distribution system brought me Lil’ Bit.
I was on the back porch feeding the other cats that the system brought me, when I heard a little faint meowing. None of my cat had tiny kittens at the time. I kept meowing to get her to come up onto a porch where I could see her. She finally came up to the porch and she was very very tiny. She really should have still been nursing her mom. I have no idea where she came from and there were no other stray cats around.
I still had some wet food treats From when I was trying to team other feral cats. When I put it out, Quickly went over to it and took it over. Any of the adult cats or kittens would get close, She would growl and spit at them.
She is always the first one to eat and still defends it in the same way! She does let them eat in the other bowl now!
I’m still working on the taming. She definitely knows her name, she comes flying in and I can sometimes pick her up and get a bit of petting, but only when I’m feeding.
While enjoying this nice spring weather with an open bedroom window, she comes up thins morning for a visit.
She’s grown quite a bit from that little tiny kitten They came up on my back porch back in September.
Is Ben part teddy bear?!

No matter what, he’s beautiful.
A few years after Felicity died, we decided it was time to bring another cat into the family.
As luck would have it, my wife had a coworker who was being terrorized by a litter of just-weaned kittens. So we went to take a look.
The place was pure chaos.
Hand-sized furballs zooming around, climbing curtains, attacking shoelaces… and occasionally the humans.
One little red kitten caught our eye, and we decided she was the one. Home she came.
A few days later we took Ginger to the vet for her first checkup. During the exam the doctor lifted the tail, paused, and said:
“Actually… he’s a boy. Sometimes you can’t tell right away.”
We laughed about having given him a girl’s name.
Later I told my sister the story.
She thought about it for a second and said:
“He’s not confused — he’s just transgingered.”
God boy . He wouldn’t like my arms lol no no
Is he a labrapoodlewwodle ? Nice hybrid
