Peel back the veil. Window Grow seeded 3/29. One pot didn’t make it, two to carry on. More room for the next class…
Window enclosure is 2’x5’. Hybrid light grow, Sola and 2 30w Spider Farmer led grow lights.
Lights go 17/7, turning off at 8 pm as 10+ hrs of direct sunlight is leaving enclosure.

NaS x Almach/Stone-Portal. NaS means name a Stone, which never got named, lol. One of Stone’s S99 variants, Black Topaz x c99a X Almach.
5 germed, 5 survived and got 2 girls. First pistil 18D from seeds to soil. Fast, considering first week in window enclosure night temps low 40s. Always a slow start in the window

Lost one of the window grow pots and gained 2 pots for gh wall or outback, wherever there is a need.
These will seed 4/29, trans to gh on or before June 1. Soil is as it’s been for years. Garden soil fertilized in fall with lots of humanure compost, less than recommended doses of high N guano, high P guano, langbeinite. Before planting mix in fish bone meal(4-12-0) 6 tbls/5 gallon soil, and langbeinite (0-22-0) 1.5 tbls/5 gallon soil.

Hey W. The Portal Sativa(Citus Noir x S99v6 X Almach)f2 seeds from S99 dom mom and dad didn’t get enough time to fully mature. Harvested early od because of rot. Looked like some mature seeds. I tested about 3 wks after harvest and only got 40% germ, lacked vig and had wimpy roots. I tried a pot in the window, 5 for 5 but weak. 2 were able to stand but stalled. Pulled them and composted the seeds. I have f1s so no prob.

By comparison
Wolverine/BlkMrrr x Portal Sativa. She matured seed in the window, no probs. Germ tested same time as PS f2. 100%, rad root vig.
We’ll see Wolverine f1s start in window and trans gh, garden, and out back.

In the repo garden I’ll be exploring PS f1s from the Citrus Noir dom mom and the S99 dom dad.
This is the pheno clan that was in the garden last season and exceeded my expectations.
Definitely getting into this line and calling it Green Gizz. And seeded mama will come into window after pollenation to mature out of the typically nasty fall weather.

Trail, bummer on the F2’s, but not a disaster thankfully! Actually, it was the F1’s I wanted to try anyway… I’m liking the sounds of the CN dom version even more, CN is still a fav’ of Stones work, I liked her more than any of the S99’s variants so far…
Wolverine looks to be a stellar cross mate, Arctic proven on both sides, so I’m really looking forward to seeing the results!

Entombed found me elsewhere and told to me to come on over.
Bat Cave terraces abandoned after yet another security scare, though I did source another big bag of guano for my veggies!
Have a couple of other sites
Presently have a few seedlings: 4 DNA Cannalope Haze, 2 ACE Orient Express, ACE Malawi x NL Auto, RQS Amnesia Haze Auto, and some reg crosses from a friend of 6 Haze (MadMacs!) x Lime Madness
See if some will flower over summer for me

wishing the jokes not on me, lol, Green Grizz, as in a winter bear, won’t give up the season and head den. This PS f1 pheno from CN Dom mom would not quit in the garden. Stay green, will not give it up to inclement fall. No fade, standing green, great meds. Fastest was 71D, and gave over 4 oz, then 2 at 74D. No BR no PM. I see mostly CN and Almach traits.
So back to F1s from the CN dominate mom. Select for Green Grizz. Planted 6 pots, 3 girls, 3 boys. The boyos weren’t up to the competition from a S99 stud. Best producer I’ve seen. Who knows what I’ll get. Whatever, at least I’ll get lots of mature seeds. Unlike my previous attempt at f2s
