AC Infinity 4.0 Twenty20Mendo Autowhip

I’ve been working on the 4x4 upgrades for summer. I haven’t been able to run in the summer due to the high temps in the garage. I rewired everything and added in a dedicated 20amp circuit in the garage to separate the rest of the stuff out there. I added on a Terraform 8 HVAC unit and test running it for a a few days on a 20/4 light cycle at 100% power on the lights and set the temperature target to 75f to see how the system performs and as expected.

The first summer run is going to be all Twenty20 Autowhip Indica since my last sativa run was pretty epic. 4 7gal Bags

That’s a beautifully clean setup.:astar:

I would point out though… (if you dont mind) that extension cable & socket is in prime position for and accidental spillage to be a bit of an issue.

@Corum it sits between the tent and liner so it’s somewhat protected. I’ve been trying to go as wire free as possible and the wireless transmitter receiver combo that ACI sells for their newer products helps to get rid of all the uis controller cables.

I also test run everything to make sure I don’t have any issues with the watering system and flooding. Found that out early on with the cheap red valves from autopots which leaked.

@Entombed tray2grows for sure. Took a little getting used to with organic soil based pots and the need for a little dryback and to not over saturate and develop rot.

@DDubs i use a little crappy Amazon dehumidifier when I need one but the Humidifier from ACI works great since the tray2grows also help to keep humidity up around 50-60%.

@EyesOnFire-1 thanks buddy, always trying to do better each run!

I put the 4 that were the farthest along down in the tent and watered them in with some Bigfoot Gold. The other two went outside in the garden and see how they do.

The tent environment is pretty dialed in. I do like this Terraform HVAC. If you’re smart about it you can setup for heat or ac or both. Right now I have it set for heat because it’s not that hot out there and at night we’re still dropping down into 48-52f so it will help keep my temp up and when we start getting hotter day temps like yesterday 95f I can switch the unit to Ac but trying to minimize the amount of times this unit triggers to avoid on/off all the time. Another tool in the belt so to speak and see what works best.

Day 1 - all 4 broke ground but one looks like it might not make it. Tent is on autopilot. Soil came up to 6.5ph and stabilized which is good since I ran a slightly different variation this run which this mix is prefect for two 7gal Rainscience bags.

1 Bag Tupur
10 C. EWC
10 C. Coarse Perlite
1 C. D2E Bio Live
1 C. KIS Nut Mix
1 C. Gypsum
1 C. Insect Frass
1/4 Cup Bigfoot Black

Day 7 - pot 4 didn’t make it so I transplanted the outdoor autowhip. I bumped the Lighting up to 40dli so minimize the stretch I was seeing.

I top dressed Si today 1/2 tbspn per pot. I also dropped the VPd down to .90-.95 by lowering the tent temp 2degress.

Day 11 - I know kind of off on the 7-14-21-30 day cycle with my photos. :person_facepalming:

I have a tendency to want to crank the lighting up.. because they were looking a little stretchy so crank up the lighting to stop the stretch.

checked it and they were sitting on 45dli so I turned it down to 30, hit them with a little Si top dress, updated the temp setting on my AC and Exhaust fans to 75F and :collision: they’re off and running today.

I wasn’t sure the transplant was going to take because it didn’t have a strong root structure but some extra Bigfoot gold myco seems to have done the trick.

Some outdoor starts mixed in.

Day 13 - Fun ACI troubleshooting. The Terraform 8 was showing on in my app but when I checked it while taking some pictures I noticed it wasn’t blowing cold air. Ended up power cycling and that started it back up. Good thing is I have the inline exhaust setup to exhaust if the temps are a little higher like before when that’s all I had. Checked the app and there was also a firmware update to install on the Terraform. So let’s see how it behaves after the update. In general I do like the ACI stuff as they keep improving the products. I would redesign the tent a little bit and give maybe a different input output ducting for the electrical. That way you don’t use the intake and exhaust vents for electrical just my observation.

Aw yeah getting some motion now. How big of a res do you have? It’s dry every 3-5 days?

13 gal res, but right now I only need to switch it on every 3-5 days. I let it dry back to 50% then open the valve for a few hours then it goes back up to 60-62%. Then shut it again till I’m back down to 50%. I don’t want them sitting wet in this hybrid live coco mix I put together. I treat it like living soil and found the trays keep it too we early on. The cycle will shorten and time the valve is open will change up the bigger they get.

You can see the moisture line is the bottom tan line. The small jag up on the left of the middle was a top dress water. But the rest illustrates a gradual dryback and water cycle this past week.
