Day 49…91 Grapes on the right are maturing a little faster, at this rate they’d harvest about a week earlier. Since I don’t want a big yield I lollipopped like a madman, almost 50% of the way up. Plenty of elbow room for everyone now, lots of airflow, and I save half a day in trim jail

I am thinking about getting these Tray2Grow trays. I have it narrowed down to those or the 2.2 gallon 1 pot systems. I like the idea of being able to add air dome if needed or wanted. But the simplicity of the Tray2Grow is really alluring.

Yes the “extra simplicity” of less parts and hoses is 100% why I use them. I like that the wicking is evenly distributed through the bottom on a flat tray as opposed to the holes in the airbase for the autopot. The only practical disadvantage to them I’ve found is the pots are limited in distance between each other, although that really only comes in to play in a tent larger than 4x4.

I used the pots first, I find the grows are identical with pots and trays but I prefer the trays because they’re simpler with less parts is all.
