It was done frozen. Its dried out 91% so it should be 99%. I’m just letting it unfreeze after it was done soaking so it can evaporate some that way when I evaporated it down I can refreeze it and winterize the fats out

If you end up with green/brown oil, some people re-freeze the alcohol to precipitate the unwanted stuff. Maybe water or other solvents are involved. I haven’t done this and honestly I don’t recall.
If you are quick the oil will be quite pure.
Soaking? No soaking in Quick Wash.
The method I used is to shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds and decant through a coffee filter onto a glass casserol pan for evaporation.
Evaporation is best done without heat to preserve terps. Just blow a fan over it. If it is a thin layer it will be dry in less than a day.
If you soak then you will end up with green or brown hash oil, which is usable but yucky. In the 70s we used to spread it on rolling papers to improve the potency of brick weed.
I even infused flower with it. It works but takes a long time to dry.

This stuff popped up in London in the early 90’s, we also spread it on papers to boost the ‘soapbar’ hash… we called it ‘joint enhancer’ LOL.
God it was rough stuff.

In those days we were lucky to get hash. We wouldn’t have ruined it with low quality oil. Bud was mostly mexican brickweed which wasn’t great to begin with!
Back to topic. A good clean oil like qwiso or rosin is nice on even the best joint!

You guys might want to have a look for “ichibancrafter” there are some good methods with “imho” pretty good walk throughs on methodology and equipment.
Personally I use an “essential oils extraction kit” with a vacuum pump ( for low boiling point) and electric hot plate (no flames) when making oil, I also use grain alcohol, just because.

Ironically, I have the same thing. Works really well. Gotta have a water pump with ice water for the condenser though.

I did a qwiso on a large portion, and I worked it down to a smaller volume alcohol and now I am winterizing it.
So I was bored and I decided to blast the frosty girl, the grape crush, and I pulled more from her than I ever have from any flower. I pulled twice as much as I normally do. 20 g with two blasts. Normally, I only get five per blast. I understand that this isn’t the recommended method, and it could be dangerous so obviously I’m not recommending anyone try it. Explosions and such. Fume hoods etc.

this probably the most annoying part, having to check on the ice and throw away the water.. condenser tubes are wonderful things though.
