According to Mephisto, Crinkle is 9-10w and Crush is 11-12 weeks.

But again, these are estimates and should be taken with a grain of salt, or a pinch of hash.

Chopped this girl down today. Grape crinkle. She was small in comparison. im guessing i pulled 4-6oz dry off her but I’m not drying them, im fresh freezing and blasting into bho. I might turn the frosty girl into hash. Idk yet.

Is this just listed right on the plant’s profile? Under their shop listing?

Looks like theres still 2 weeks to go. Cool

I pulled out pretty much all of the nitrogen at this point. I’m just using a tiny tiny bit of Calmag extra by AN. And then overdrive and Bud candy & sensizym for the microbes

Yes. Theres a few tabs under each strain Hard to spot because they look like plain text but you can click on them.

One describes the ā€œstrainā€, another is called ā€œin the weedsā€ and gives a stats overview. Another is about the bigger ā€œprojectā€. The 4th one is links to COA. I usualy read the in the weeds then the strain description. The project tab is most interesting with the F1 limiteds.

Here’s 3 Bears but they are all like this.

I really like the npk raw brand. I have several of their product products. They sell somewhat novel ingredients. Cant beat their fulvic acid

I need help determining how to process the plants. Initially, I was just gonna fresh freeze everything and then blast it into bho, but I only have a 45 g tube and I could buy the 90 g tube… but I’m not sure how much of butane I’m actually gonna save doing that…

So I’m considering working it down to hash… I don’t know, but I don’t really use hash because I don’t use flower. I just use concentrate inside the pens. Hash would be the least expensive way to work it down though.

You’ve heard it before bt I have to repeat it: Please don’t make bho. You need your fingers. And your face.

Unless you’ve got a ton of money to get a closed loop system.

There are lots of other excellent ways to make concentrates that are way less risky.

When I do BHO it’s outside and it’s crazy crazy ventilated. I have a powerful box fan that I have set up to create a flow to where no gas comes in my direction at all, and I can stand behind the fan.

But id consider other options. Got any good pocket friendly ideas?

I chopped both plants down. I fresh froze most of it. But im going lotus method in the fridge with a bit of silica to dry. I have a feeling itll preserve terps better that way.

The smell is crazy. My favorite so far of all time is grape crush. Like grape candy soaked in gasoline with a heavy gmo garlic undertone. Shees stinky in the right ways.

Im considering how to process the flower. Im considering a rosin press. It might be cool to turn them into hash.. idk how do you guys like to process your flower into concentrate?

I press and I also make an alcohol based tincture.

Despite it being delicious, I don’t think anyone here would recommend BHO unless you have a closed loop system. I stopped because people were getting seriously hurt.

Solvent free is best. I want to start pressing rosin sometime in the future. Dry sifting is currently my favorite.

Since you have a big fan, another method I’ve used is QWISO aka Quick Wash Isopropyl (or QWET with Ethanol) for honey oil. Because its quick it doesn’t pick up much chlorophyll.

Quick Wash was popular here at AFN years ago. Yield is a bit lower but if its done right the quality is excellent. If you have lots of weed and only care about quality quick wash is the best solvent method for home IMO.

Longer soaks produce much more thick dark green oil but there are methods to filter and clarify it. Lots of work in my opinion.

Then there’s pheonix tears but the solvents used are bad for you and the oil is only good for oral consumption.

I’m gonna take your advice and go with QWISO. I have plenty of flower and font mind the loss in yield if the product is good. I found all my butane, but I guess it’ll just sit in storage :man_shrugging:t2:

You can offer all your friends lighter refills!

There’s lots of QW info out there so I won’t repeat it here. One thing I’d suggest is working with smaller amounts the first few times to find your sweet spot and speed of evaporation.

I am toying around with the quick isopropyl wash. And I think what I’m gonna do is evaporate the wash down before I run it through a fine filter. That way, I filter out the fats.

Allow the alcohol to get up to a warm temperature and evaporate down and so the fats are more likely to precipitate out of the solution once it gets down to a cold temperature again.

I’m curious if anyone’s ever tried this before? Or if you guys have any other tricks?

Make sure it’s 99%iso.

You get better quality if you freeze everything including the alcohol.

Warm materials increases the amount of chlorophyll in the solvent and final hash.
