Just clicked on a few different journals and couldn’t find a single one that had the option. :joy::sweat_smile:

Also after spending all day reading more about breeding, F1, F2, F3, BX1, s1, ect ect….

This lemon breeding project I’m starting is going to be a bit bigger than I originally anticipated.

However, I’m pretty stoked for those F1 seeds and getting started!

Depending on how many seeds I get out of cross, I may be willing to send some out to some people if anyone is interested. @Hobbes could be a mediator if necessary I’m sure!

ALIVE, for sure because both my left shoulder from the rotator cuff injury and now my big toe with gout really fucking hurt. My left shoulder that I am working on with just PT is getting really painful because I cannot lift that arm and exercise it or risk moving the leads from the pacemaker into the heart. Then when I was in the hospital they don’t let you take your regular medications so I went for three days without my gout prophylactic. WTF All that pain verifies life.

Thanks for asking.

Ps the heart is doing well!

I post a tutorial on how to insert them into topics; it’s just not a widespread thing. We are looking at requiring them for Cultivator Club grows.

NIFTY!

AND that one had a table of contents :grimacing::winking_face_with_tongue:

It really does make sorting through a long content post sooo much easier; the caveat is that it only works for the very first post.

For some of those cats that wanted to do multiple grows in a single topic; editing your first post would actually TECHNICALLY make the most sense in terms of being able to actually sort things and find things.

I’ll definitely add it to mine.

Just for you BBG

Boom!

Added.

And I’ll go back and add more headers later

Ok I added a TOC but do not quite understand how to add milestones do I need to post them added to the main post or does the TOC go to posts in the thread?

For starters, TOC only works for the 1st post of the topic. It’s not meant to scour the topic content itself (because topics can turn into thousands of replies.)

Once you insert it at the top of the 1st post, you use the Header option in the toolbar (the Tt) icon to highly text to assign as a header.

H1 is always your topic header.

H2 is like setting chapters.

H3 & H4 are like subsections of chapters.

This also helps the topics score higher on Google indexing/searches, because it helps them “clearly see” the content being highlighted for relevance.

So depending on how you have the journal setup:

H1 = journal topic/thread title

H2 = could be used for each Milestone or major update.

Or you could use H2 to describe your initial setup, gear, etc.

Ok I am dense. Is all of this done only in the first post by adding the Milestones to the first post or does it somehow link the TOC to already existing posts?

First post of topic. And ONLY the first post of the topic.

The Table of Contents is being generated by:

  1. The code you 1st insert at the top of the topic.
  2. The headers that you assign to the text in that 1st post.

It only works in the 1st post. So for each milestone, you would type the milestone, highlight them, and set them to H2 (just as an example.) When you save it, it should add those headers to the table of contents (which makes them hyperlinks.)

Looking at your journal, you didn’t have the TOC code inserted at the top.

I edited your 1st initial post, insert the code for you, and saved it.

If that hosed anything, I should be able to revert to the last edit, but that was the issue!
