A guy I sometimes follow on youtube grew one outdoors… take a look!
Nice, yeah I got a 4 pack of those same ones..holds up to a 7 gallon pots i think..very nice..like the wick idea..curious how well it works.very cool..cant wait to see some landrace shtuffs happening here shortly.
Hi my friend
I will definitely take a look , I was thinking about to cross the freak with the duck to see what the offspring would show.
These will hold up to a 10 gallon pot. I like the 7 gallon because with the right plants, four will fill the tent very well!
You have some duck? Use small pots… lol! They can get VERY tall. I put one into flower at 10 inches tall ( 25cm ) and it stretched to 46 inches (117 cm )!!
Wow,10 gallons wow..I think mine hold 7?they were the large anyway..thought they were XL..have to go look at wm again..haven’t fired em up..soon..they’re about big enough inside..or the OG is..
I got some auto purple duck f8 but have to make a fresh batch there are not much seeds left in the vault.
Seedlings are doing well, although I did lose 2. I have one NightQueen left and it’s likey to do nothing and die. It’s one of those that sprout and have excellent cotyledons, but never grows it’s first true leaves, so I guess it’s no Night Queen this round. I was really hoping for one outdoors. The rest are doing well and have first leaves.
Glad to see you on here man good stuff going on!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Seedling growth is a mixed bag. Overall good. The Mazar i Sharif are very small, we’ll see how they go from here, sometimes they start slow..
The auto Mazar all look very good. One Gnomo is good the other… we’ll see, i rarely kill a plant even runts. The 4 GDP x Mazar are looking very good!
And then there’s the cotyledon only seedling, poor thing!
Looks like the indoor grow is on hold as I’m not holding out hope for the Mazar i Sharif. The Mazar x GDP and the Mazar XXL autos will go out to the raised bed.
I have room in the seedling tray as I lost 4 total to fusarium, and or overwatering… my bad!
So I dug around in my seed stash and decided on Herijuana! As these seeds are no longer available, I’m hoping for at least a breeding pair. We’ll see. I don’t remember when I bought these lol! soaking water + 1 1/2% H2O2. ( hydrogen peroxide )
Well… not a one Herijuana sprouted. So Moving on, I’ve selected:
World of Seeds Mazar x White Rhino and Linda Seeds Holland’s Dope which is an F1 cross of Holland’s hope and an autoflower to shorten flowering time.
The other change I’m making is I’m going to make is I’m going to 10 gallon pots. I’ll run about 8 gallons of soil, leaving room to top dress several times as I anticipate a long veg period.
My top dress will be just my soil mix with extra Epsoma added to it. I’ll mix a 1/2 cup into 1 gallon of soil, which already has plenty of EWC and compost. With the self watering trays, I’ll need to water from the top a couple times when I top dress.
These seeds are just recieved a couple days ago so I’m expecting good germ rates this time!
I’ll start 3 of each and if they all sprout, I’ll sekect the best and send the other 2 to small pots and finish them to, waste nothing!
Try pulling those cotyledons apart slightly to encourage some growth, somebody did that recently with some success I believe. They pulled them just slightly apart and some new growth emerged after a day or so. After sitting for over a week with just cotyledons.
I did just for giggles! it just sprouted it’d second set of leaves! I’ll post a pic in a bit!
How are you liking the ac infinity self watering pots(I think thats what u got) i was thinking of getting the same…or save a little more and grab autopots
Still waiting to use them! The seeds I started were old and duds, The seeds I just posted on will go in 10 gallon pots and on the A.C Infinity bases. If you looked at the pic, I threaded the wicks to give almost 80% more surface area. I’m looking forward to seeing them in action.
These are the new XL bases, the hold 2.3 gallons.
Nice to see you back around pop! Good to see you growing too. I always find great tips and techniques from you seasoned veterans.
Thanks for stopping by! The self watering trays are just another step in my quest for simplicity. Set them up right and don’t let them dry out, there’s nothing to fail. We’ll see though if they will do the job!
LOL! Yes that might be a very interesting cross!
