Sawney Beans White Gen 4, 420Scrog grow in a 2x4

I’ve been fortunate enough to have be given the opportunity to grow the WG4’s. I’ve cultivated the WG3 probably 6 times now and every run has been top shelf. The genetics are perfect for this method of cultivation, good stretch, mutiple bud sites and most importantly thick, pine shaped kolas that just keep expanding as they mature.

Day 1 above ground.

Day 16

This is a before and after staking the main stem.

These ladies are being hand watered with a turkey baster, four times daily.

The feed that is going in has a ph of 6 with an ec of 1.1. I just water until I have a steady run-off which is normally about 20% of what’s going in. Lights are left on 24/7 to help maintain a constant environment with RH being kept at 65%.

grind gaaaahhh, you lucky bugger!

I’m eyeing the ‘3G for this season myself, haven’t grown her yet. What aromas and effects have you gotten so far in them? This is part of what I need to know when making tough choices, as I angle to grow a wide range of effects and hopefully, aromas!

The WG is an all round filthy animal, gassy, greasy with earthy tones. I’ve found her to really terpy to. The main reason I love this strain so much is how suitable she is for a scrog grow. You need good stretch but also the WG is not one of those cultivars that produces massive amounts of leaf material. The yield she can produce is ridiculous, I’ve had just under a pound a plant dry weight from virtually each plant which keeps the jars topped up nicely. If you have some WG’s get them in the dirt now, you’ll not be disappointed.

Hope you don’t mind me keeping an eye on how this goes @DOA… I see she has similar crazy leaves to the G3.

Seeing as you are the White G3 expert, I have a White G3 at about day 30… she’s a bit smaller than my other plants, and I’ve just done some LST on her, not sure if it’s too late though. Any tips you can give me?

I tend to do all my HST in one hit 3 or 4 days after pistols have started showing. I imagine at day 30 her stems are becoming quite firm. The tiips should still be pliable though, enough to manipulate them. Your smaller plant might catch up, you never know. Do you have a journal running for her?
