Sugar Cube - Twisted Tree continued

Day 94

Ths second half is about ready to be chopped, but I am going to let it go a little longer.

The buds are getting some nice colors to them.

The buds I cut a few days ago are ready to go into jars, so that’ll be what I am doing this morning.

Total weight for what has been cut is 39 grams.

.not to bad as a beginning. I probably have another ounce and a half on the plant, maybe more.

Enjoy! I’m out and need to grow some more.

I’d be happy with that. Especially if it’s high quality. We don’t go through enough to need pounds off a plant. Plus I don’t wanna sit and trim a bunch I’ll never get to.

Just got done trimming up the rest and set it to dry for a few days. If I had to guess, about another 50-60 grams.

This is gonna be :fire:

Here’s a good couple pictures of the first harvest of the plant.

The rest is drying right now. I cannot wait for it to be ready for jars.

So question to the community…in Mason jars, how long do you cure for?

Right now I am burping the jars about 10 minutes 2 or 3 times a day. Would you do more or less?

I’ve been using Grove bags. I read a lot of positive reviews on the old site. The local hydro shop carries them now. They are reusable if you don’t heat seal them and don’t fuck em up.

Cure time has been as long as it takes to go through the nugs. I think most advice is min 2 weeks. We start sampling as soon as it’s dry. I am terrible at scents & flavors.

I did the same process with jars prior to getting the bags. I’ve tried with and without humidity packs. I notice no difference. Well, except the jars with packs didn’t turn to dust when I forget them for months.

Just jarred the rest of the plant. Another 58 grams!

If I am mathing right, that’s 97 grams of sweet sweet smoke!

I’ll be back in a week or two with a smoke report.
