The 2026 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competiton!

I cut several slabs and knots for my daughter, she wants to paint on them for the house.

getting ready to transplant the Sour RnA CBD and Skunk1 to the outdoors. One of each will be going to the yard across town with the Dream Queen (larger of the two sprouts) and Original 818 Sour D. One of the CBDs looked a little odd but it’s probably from the husk. If it doesn’t straighten out and fly right I’ll probably kill it off.

That’s supposed to be a pretty legendary strain huh? Been reading up on it, a lot seem to think it’s the best cross out of all of them

Cats eating to Canna is real! I found a whole branch, lower and small but still a whole branch hanging on by a thread and the leaves had kitty teeth holes. As I was tripping out on it and trying to figure out which Kitty was the culprit, Kitty(the black one) walked right up and ripped a whole leaf off the plant, chewed up part, and spit the rest out and walked away! They also like to dig in the soil! They are lucky they are cute! Hahaha

My cats love the canna. I grow catnip for them as an offering to stay out of my stuff. Now my cats just look in my trash in the grow room for leafs I have defoliated and threw away.

My Dog was the same he would only eat dried n curred bud.

You ever seen a dog eat catnip? They get thoroughly trashed on that stuff like falling over drunk.

Forest Garden Update

A week after planting out those little seedlings
Weather had some rain, then dry, fairly sunny and hot for the next five days
Temps around 25C-30C highs, and down to 20C over night – very nice!

Always the usual anxiety going to visit after planting out seedlings
I am always fearing the worse, eaten by bugs and slugs, or whatever
Or dried out due to lack of watering

Today, as often, I was pleasantly surprised
Some good growth, nothing startling, but a couple of nodes, over seven days
Good color, though they are still very small

Spot X

Just one little Cannalope Haze fem remains
(The other one was risky at best…)

Two Haze x Lime Madness regs

Spot Y

Two little Orient Express fems

This one is a bit dodgy… hope she survives!

Healthier looking one

Spot Z

Looking sativa all the way – the leaves, the nodal length
And plenty of vigor!

And I have four of them, regs, so maybe looking at a couple of girls total
Wait, I still have a few of these back at base camp looking for a home…

Since I’m updating:
The Amnesia Haze auto at the Hillside Garden was eaten, it seems
So I’m dropping another seed of the Amnesia Haze to fill her spot

Love and hugs

Yeah, looking good! Must be getting the roots established and feeling comfortable in the soil.

If you’ve got slugs, can you get copper tape where you are? Could put a ring around each one to deter them. That’s at least one pest out of the way. Copper strips would work too but tape might be easier.

Tape it to a plastic ring and then slightly bury the edge.

i haven’t had slug issues here at all

but my general experience of veggie growing means i know what damage they can do, especially to little seedlings

@Waira Saturday Update

The :skunk: are perking up and can wait to see what aroma they start throwing. Optimistic.

The Double Durban is taking off pretty good and has a fat trunk. Already has a nice Durban aroma and as it progress’s should be a real stinker.

Early Frost has some nice aroma too and right behind the DD.

Sour RNA CBD looking good too.

The Dream Queen and Original 818 Sour D are still in the tent till I can swing by my buddies house. But his raised beds need a little time to cook since they’re brand new and recently amended. Plus these two could use another week to get a good root ball.

Thinking I gotta start one tomorrow to get in on this. Just can’t figure out how to post on this without replying to someone…

Would you be stoked or bummed if you got the rotting carcass skunk pheno? I know it’s been bred out of a lot of skunks, but it’s still there somewhere and genetics are weird. Beautiful plants by the way!

The blue reply arrow at the bottom of the thread, looks just like the one in the comment box but it’s at the bottom of all the comments

And you can use those up and down arrows to get to the top or bottom of the thread without scrolling

Ok I’m in. Hopefully this is the proper way to enter the competition these are mystery seeds from speed run seeds so I don’t know the strain, but I figured that would add to the fun for me they did two days in the tent. I planted them in 20 gallon fabric pots so that’s where they are staying. I’m to old to be lifting them lol
