Hmmm, she didn’t stand out as being fast or slow to trigger or for blooming… Here at 36Lat central coastal Cali, bloom typically starts mid-late Aug.,… bloom times for me are always faster than described ( tighter shoes seems to help with this), I think about 7 weeks…

Yup, seems something at Batcave went sideways even if not plant related :grimacing: … too bad, but then what with all the tagger action in that area, it had it’s downsides for sure!

the crew looks solid luv, not an easy life but they are doing fine so far! Getting eaten at this stage is all too easy… The auto’s, well you know then and tough starts outside   …maybe a 2nd round after the rain passes…?

Outdoor update. Double Durban was topped and stretching. Gonna get really big.

The early frost is also getting big fast.

Lots of kale and veggies around too. The exposure in this zone of the yard makes um stretch more but I plan on topping and training a lot.

36N lat central coastal Cali mid Aug is 13:30/10:30, and late Aug is 13:00/11:00.

This is going to be touch and go here, haha!

I should get something out of this round

Next round is after solstice, let the meet life with decreasing sunlight into fall and winter

Otherwise later plantings now will just flower into the typhoon season

The outdoor starts are moving along waiting on the weather to get better… three days of rain and cooler weather. Probably put my photoperiods Dbl Durban and Early Frost out a bit early. Close up of the Skunk1 Thcv Autoflower. The tomato cups come in handy.

OK, I’m web-able again! …but now the ever fun learning curve with Windows11, a new computer and other fun shit…:face_with_spiral_eyes: LOL …then I have to find a way to transfer all my data from the wonky unit to this one. I’m jammed there, since the POS won’t run more than 4 minutes I can’t link them directly. Assuming it’s not a malware/virus (probably not is the general opinion), the SSD will have to get yanked and popped into something else that works…

Anyway

@MariaSanchez …we’ll keep cheering them on! I hope the weather has turned by now?

Oooo, kitty be hawkin’ ya- …a visitor? friendly or wary? I see cats snacking on canna at times, so that one better not come grazing!

@MasonJarOG — great start! F’ me, I am SO dying to get girls going, but the situation is still pending… At least auto’s are started

How’s the weather, better? I saw advise from T20M about getting any of their EV’s started before June, something about delayed blooming? …odd, but they know their bizz best on that line…

@Waira did 2020 advise for or against starting before June? I had not seen that info.

We’re heading back into the 70’s tomorrow and the 3 days of rain, top dress with Si, watered in some compost tea as well as a application of LAB around the garden has the whole bed looking really good!

I’ll take some pictures tomorrow. The mixed kales are really happy and time to start making salads this week.

Had my first flush on shiitakes this week. Going to dry them out for use later.

Outdoor Season is officially started for me in the Mich. My soil is banging, I love working this garden spot! Im in the ground and set to grow some heavy large plants again this summer. So far I have 2x Blue Cheese clones, 1x Super Silver Haze clone, 2x MJ-12 project, 2x The Rev, 1 x Amethyst Lavender Pheno, and 1x Michigan Mad Man. No autos yet but I will probably start a couple in the next few weeks. Hopefully I can possibly beat my personal best for harvest with one of these plants and pull 6lbs off a single plant this year.

I’m jealous, looks like ya got a nice open piece of land there that’s open and cleared some, good sun…awesome bud, cant wait to see whatcha pull off.

I got quite a bit of my veggie garden planted yesterday also, whoop whoop. Im sure glad I grow quite a bit of my own food and raise animals for food because the grocery bills are stupid! I think my eggs are worth more $ than the bud right now!

I had to cut down a tree earlier this year that had grown too tall and was blocking my evening light. I should be getting full sun this year! Don’t worry though i planted 2 trees in my front yard to replace the one I cut down. I have a ton of poplar trees in my yard that grow super fast.

I checked the catalog they sent along with my order. They cautioned that planting later than June may mean they won’t be ready by September, I guess as per their descriptions. That tracks with FV’s IME, but it’ll still be cultivar and pheno dependent to some degree… How quickly they mature, how readily they trigger over to bloom, your local ambient light/dark hours…

My Green Poison F1FV’s triggered a bit earlier than straight photo’s, but bloom speed is where the real magic happened, typically done early-mid Sept.

My first one ever was started beginning of Aug. (got sent the FV, not the auto by accident; said screw it, let’s try anyway), and finished end of Oct… Awesome end results too!

:joy: – I thought we talked about this… hard to pass though when the soil is prime and RTG!
Line up looks great, BC clones getting a solid OD test, SSH too… I’m keen to see how this one performs for you OD’s, finish speed in particular. On paper, she’ll likely be the last girl in, but we’ll see!

Sorry for the tree but good for your trees! That’s some good carving wood.

I think we’re good but some of this may be the jump from the 16 hrs of indoor light to moving outdoors. Both plants have some really nice terps on the stem rub already. Nice Durban aroma and the FV is piney

The Super Silver Haze finished first indoors in 9 weeks. Hopefully she does the same outdoor.
