Tomorrow is the end of the line for 2 blue cheese autos. It will be day 102 above ground for both. Here are some shots of them before they get chopped. This will open the tents up for the soil run which I will get started on this weekend.

I prefer the 14gal for the lower profile but one of them is 17gal cause they were out of the 14s.

Got everything cut and hanging. I’ve got the closet automated for drying but I’m getting rh% spikes when portable AC kicks on. It’s hitting 67-68% before the exhaust fan can get it under control. Still trying to find a solution but other than that it’s working good.

Ive been so focused on the harvest and getting the closet stable that I neglected cookie monster. Basically she got no canopy maintenance all week. Thursday she was kinda droopy and res ec had shot up to 3.4. Didnt think too much about it and added some ro water to balance it out. Friday even more droopy and had some brown spots showing up. Ec had went up to 3.7. Now I was worried but didnt have time to really do anything. Added ro water really diluted it down and lowered the light intensity. Saturday she was looking pretty bad. Brown spots meant cal defi to me and i was pretty sure it wasnt from a lack of it. I mixed fresh nutes anyways and did a full res change out. Also wanted to check the roots which are hard to see without draining the res. At this point on Sat. I was pretty certain she was choking on her own leaves. I think the canopy was so thick she was having problems with transpiration. That combined with the tent doesnt have an exhaust or controller so Im controlling the environment with 2 clip fans and how much I unzip the tent. I did some minor defol and opened the tent so she could get some air. Here she is on Saturday.
She was looking better Sunday so I decided she could probably handle the canopy work.

The soil grow is coming together. I had to order a few carrots online from blumat cause my grow store was out. Once those carrots are here I’ll have all the pieces of the puzzle and be ready to pop some beans.

Got the lowers cleaned up today. She has stretched a little too much on me and could maybe use a second net to spread her out. Probably just try to keep her thinned out but balanced.

Update on the dry. The glueberry was bucked yesterday and put into a big grove bag to sweat. I’ll trim and press into rosin tomorrow hopefully. Probably grab a few of the best top buds to cure for smoke but most will be pressed. After being sealed in the bag over night shes reading 59% so I’ll grab some leaves from the gorilla cookies and throw in there for moisture.
The blue cheese was a couple days behind the glueberry so I’m hoping for 60+ and preferably hit 62%. 1 bucket of stubby which leans toward the blueberry side. 2 buckets of big momma which was more the cheese side. After a few days of equalizing I’ll trim and separate the best top buds. 75% of the flower will be pressed into rosin.
The closet performed very well over the 9 days with solid averages. Spikes were me making changes in the closet. I’m having to do the bucket sweat because I had too much airflow. Nothing flash dried and the hay smell came and went so all is good. But the outside of the buds progressed a little too fast.
Just a little too much fan. Had two 8" fans going on lowest setting. One on the floor mixing humidifier and ac duct blowing straight up. One on the shelf above taking that mixed air and bouncing it off the ceiling back down on the plants. I made airflow adjustments 3 days ago. Turning off the top fan and pointing the floor fan to bounce off the wall. Yesterday I put the fan on a cycle of 10min on 5min off and aimed it to bounce off the floor then the wall. Still had to get them into the buckets today.
Overall I’m happy with the first dry in the closet and following dries will be dialed in.

I have to do that after every grow to cook a batch while I grow a round, it’s a lot of work but it’s fun to get your hands in there and mix it up all good! I work on a tarp in the garage. Sometimes I don’t feel like it, but when harvest comes, I’m reminded of why it’s worth it!

The plan was to use 5gal pots and recycle after every run like youre talking about. I’ve almost talked myself into pivoting and going 20gal no-till if I can pull it off in time. I need to get a run started within the week so I’m not sure if Im ready to commit to it this go.

Checked the buckets after 4 hours and two are at 61% and one at 60% so thats a good start.

Okay here is a crazy list of seeds I just ordered. Everything is a 12pk of regular seeds. I got a lot of bundle deals so if there are duplicates listed then I got multiple packs. Everything is from 808 genetics which Im not happy about the customer service reviews but I took the gamble. Use whatever you got. You will be fine I’m sure. Are you going to stick with the scrog/420method in soil? Photoperiods allow for that.

Yeah its a ton but just about every core strain im interested in is in that list. I like the gas, funk, cheese, pungent, skunk type terps with a little berry and candy in there. Some of those crosses I probably wouldnt pick but they came in the bundles. All photo regs 696 seeds for $645 including shipping. Not a bad deal! Im missing some strawberry and watermelon flavors but I’ll be adding a few more strains through the year. I dont want to worry about being able to get seeds or have to pay inflated prices later in the year. The plan is to have enough variety by the end of the the year to never have to worry about or buy seeds again. Humbolt csi offers tons of s1 seeds from quality genetics that I’ll be using to fill in the library too.
