I grew a Forum Stomper x GWK freebie and it was not nearly as pretty as your plant there. Super yummy sweet cookie, OG terps, especially after it cured up well. But it wasn’t that pretty lol.

@KingRatt @Simply_nuggets Thx fellas! She is kinda something. The gwk is archived so I guess Im forced to pop both seeds i got, hit them with sts, and breed them together for more seeds. I’ll have to share with everyone when that happens.

Step 1 complete! Its been almost 2hrs since the major work and no immediate wilting. Some growth is actually fighting back already. Day 4 of flower, flipped on day 28 above ground. She had to get under the net before she was all the way to the walls. Doing things a little different for the soil run. No immediate schwazz.

I noticed one thing.
When you are making your bends on the branches, are you rolling the branch at that point to breakdown the fibers all around, or are you just bending?

One thing about photos is you have all the time in the world and can train them under the scrog early. You don’t really need to use the 420autoflower method. You obviously can and I’m curious to see how it bounces back. I have seen people shwazz a couple times throughout flower with good results. Im sure you will be fine with the extreme bending and folding, it just seems like a step you could skip if you tied it down once and started training under the net early. I pulled about a pound out of a 2x2 scrog with photos and a 100w light. It still looks freaking awesome, I’m just wondering if you can save yourself some work.

He softens them before bending. Pliers with tape on the jaws is the weapon of choice.

I just re read your post, and I’m wondering why you waited to do the thing in flower instead of veg? If you did all that in veg, it could dedicate all its energy in flower to bud development?

I use needle nose pliers wrapped in tape to slowly crush the stem. Followed by working the area with my fingers. Usually working an area about an inch long so it can bend instead of pinch. Then I use my fingers to support the area as I do the actual bending.

You are partially the reason for flipping to flower first. The faster I get to harvest the better. Anyone can veg under the net for an extra 2-4 weeks. Boring! 
It wouldnt be a 420 autoflower scrog if I did it that way. The difference between hydro and soil requires not to schwazz during the super crop.

Dont the teeth still show with plasti dip? Doesnt seem thick enough.
I put some pieces of hose over my pliers but with the needle nose I lost the precision. Maybe if I tried with some 1/4" it might be better.

Yeah just all about speeding things up really. Combining all the hormones from the training and the stretch phase to create an explosion of growth.

These are 10 mins after lights on which is 3pm. Recovering/recovered and developing new growth. Obviously shes not fully recovered, I’ll give her most of the day to do so then do some readjusting of the branches before lights out.

I was also imagining the aerosol thickness when commenting. Didnt really consider the thicker dip and brushable version. The teeth on needle nose are also less aggressive so this would probably work pretty well. It holds up over time? Doesnt come off in/on the plant?
