I’ve been using your style a bit for some of my grows. Basically using a fortified pre mixed soil and plain water. One of those plants had the biggest nug I’ve ever grown, bigger than my fist, a single bud, not a cola. And I have big hands! Anyway, I was inspired by you. It’s not the cheapest way to grow, also not the most expensive, but it’s damn easy and gives great results! I see so many people over complicating things or trying methods way out of their experience levels. I think everybody should start this way, so they can see what’s possible without all the bullshizz! I think a lot of new growers get hooked into buying ten product nutrient lines and end up doing more harm than good for the plants. Anyway, keep up the great work! Also quick question, when you are submitting a nug for testing or judging, what part of the plant are you taking from? The tops? The nugs right under the tops? I’ve just come across conflicting info, some saying the top nugs are the most potent, and the tops of the nugs themselves are more potent then the bottom of the nug, and then I’ve also read that the tops of the buds are less potent because they are off-gassed from the direct light. Just curious where you take your nugs from for testing

It’s an interesting question. When I submit my samples for AAC, I usually try to just keep the nicest looking buds for submissions. To be honest I don’t know if they come from the top or not. I just go through them after it’s done and then trimmed.

And I also agree wholeheartedly. This is definitely one of the least complicated ways to grow, but it works for me and I like to keep things simple.

I will be using your method in my smaller grows, but in my big grows I will still be using my tried and true methods as it still costs about half as much and on a bigger scale that adds up for sure. If I could have my cake and eat it too I’d just use your method across the board!
