I’ve grown 18/6 and 20/4, never 24.
Some auto plants didn’t mind 20/4 but most of them wanted longer rests.
Keep in mind that heat can be an issue in my little tent, theres no co², plus my lights are not dimmable…

Speaking of light cycles based on quality/cost to grow 18/6 for autos and 12/12 for photos.
I have tried so many different light schedules most just cost more for an inferior product.

Heat, lack of or too much plays an important part for sure. Utilizing our lights to get as optimum an environment is key as long as DLI is kept in the sweet spot.

They claim that terps are improved by the leds BUT I suspect the reason leds produce better terps is simply because they are not as hot so terps arent burned off.
I also noticed there are no links or citations to real science that backs up their claims.

I have done both together before HPS and LED worked fine . I cant find one Vid of people growing with it in the wild lol and the price says ask for quote lol

Get the AI controller, don’t use the AI crap, but get it over the power strip. Shouldn’t really put anything on a power strip that pulls any kind of serious wattage.

There’s only 1 or 2 places I know of actually using them, and they are in cahoots with the manufacturer. If they didn’t get them for free or have a hand in development they wouldn’t be running them. Saw a post on Instagram today showing them off. Plants looked like shit and stretched beyond reason. Healthy green, but the structure was crazy not in a good way, and to get to 1000ppfd you have to let them stretch a stupid crazy amount. All the same problems we had with HPS back in the day and why the more serious people started staggering in CMH (besides CMH made them color better and hits the secondary metabolites better).

I find dli doesn’t really matter with autos they don’t play by the same rules. We run a about 70-75 before even considering turning on the gas, almost 100 dli with CO2 lol
