Pretty sad tho! Was like 6+ years ago but he was sponsored by Suzuki and raced supercross i believe and he didnât come around for the final lap and was nowhere on course and he was found off course in some weeds dead! Was so hot out he died of a heat stroke trying to finish the race! I knew him since i was like 13 so definitely was a shocker! I remember when i met him he lived with his dad in a 2 story duplex and he always had like 4 bikes on stands in the middle of the living room since there was no garage!

I had a nice Webco when I was a teenager. Wasnât ever any good at bmx. In my thirties I had a nice Trek and rode quite a bit. 10 or 15 miles a day.

I had a kid that lived in the next neighborhood over who had a badass compact track in hos backyard! I think i was like 13 and he was younger than me but he was sponsored by elf bikes and tons of others! I had a GT bike more made for street riding so used a bmx magazine to piece together my dream bike for Christmas! It was gonna be like $1,700 (in 1994 lmao) so i took up rollerblading! Was definitely easier to get those to a skatepark vs a bike! Especially since they were all over an hour away so required parents dropping us off!
