I also made more hash last night from the trim of some plants that I just harvested the other day.

Cut down some funky mango, alien, versus triangle, and purple juice.

Trimmed them up and used to that trim to make some hash.

Since I over dried my last batch, this is currently in a pizza box in the refrigerator, trying to slow dry it for a week before I attempt to press my next temple ball

You’ll have to let us know what you think of the vivosun products. Seems like ACI isn’t the only Ai controller game anymore.

Pick a product and I could tell you why I love it

IMHO they have great products, at fair prices, and I’ve never felt one of their products was “cheap”

When it comes to maintaining a stable environment, if they make it, I have it.

-Oscillating fans

-In line fans

-Smart plugs, to make non smart devices play with the controller.

-Humidifier

-AC

-Dehumidifier

All solid products.

I’ll do an unboxing when the new stuff arrives!

So I left about three grams of this on the counter to air dry over night to compare to the stuff in the fridge.

24 hours later, it was already dry, whereas the stuff in the fridge will definitely need a few more days.

I took the three grams and tried my hand at the frenchie method of making a temple ball again…

Haza!

My first ever temple ball.

27.5 G hash pressed into balls last night. Gonna give two smaller 7g balls to my neighbors, and I’ll keep the bigger one for myself!

Name a better use for trim!

Same as with AC infinity and Mars Hydro I think.

All these Chinese brands dumping out the same shit, prob coming from the same factory/business park as well, just another label. Definitely cool stuff though! Something growers back in the day could only dream about!

I get what you’re saying.

Vivosun is an American founded company started in California.

All of the product testing and refinement happens at their LA area headquarters.

Their production does indeed happen in China unfortunately, as with most hydroponic companies.

I do wish more manufacturing happened right in the USA, but unfortunately with regulations and cost to produce I understand why most companies choose to do it overseas.

And as far as the quality of the product of us, I wouldn’t call it “shit”

I feel like that’s a big misconception most people have about Vivosun (or at least I’ve personally heard some people talk down on them) but I decided to ignore what I had heard and try them out for myself, and I have been nothing but happy with every one of their products.

Customer support is based out of the USA as well. I had a slight issue with my humidifier thinking it was out of water when it was not and turning off. After a short conversation and me sending them a video of the problem they very quickly sent me a whole new top unit without requesting the previous one back.

The previous unit has since stopped the problem that it had so I am continuing to use it unless it starts to act up again and now I have a brand new one to just swap in if that does happen.

Yeah you’re right, ‘shit’ sounded a bit negative in that sense (the products are def nice please don’t get me wrong), just meant similar products in that way..

Vivosun, MarsHydro, ACinfinity, SpiderFarmer etc. are all similar products/brands, most likely coming from the same places in China, just different branding, that’s all. It’s very smart what they do though (and cover the whole market), and yeah the labeling and ‘design’ might happen in Cali for some, but that’s just also a smart way to get confidence from global consumers imo

Good luck with the new run! :oncoming_fist: :green_heart: Looking forward to seeing the results soon, all the best bro

How long have you had your clip fans and how have they held up?

September of last year I got them, and they have been running (almost) nonstop ever since.

They perform as good as the day they came home!

My spider farmer fans are already going out. Maybe 3 months old!

Yeah that is no good.

I would be contacting customer support!

With Vivosun like I said the fans have been on 24/7 since the day I got them and they still work like the day I turned them on.

BUT my humidifier had an issue where it was saying the tank was out of water when it wasn’t. The issue happened a few times over the course of a week so I got in contact with customer support and within just a couple of days, they sent me an entire replacement free of charge and did not even ask me to send the one I was currently using back. They just wanted a photo of the units serial number to check for potential defects in that production batch.

Full transparency, that auto daiquiri lime has been kicking my ass.

The amount of defoliation work that has been required to really do it justice… It’s just not something that I’ve been able to keep up with having as busy of an as busy of an schedule as I do unfortunately.

I’ve just been ashamed to show it off.

I’ve been trying to catch up on it, but it’s still far from what its real potential was.

The anvil F9 was not such a jungle, so it’s been easier to keep up on

And this has still required hours and hours of defoliation.

My game plan for my next run is to try to cut down on the amount of time that I’m spending doing defoliation, so I will be doing more plants, but less training.

I was trimming on the auto daiquiri lime behind me when the lights went out, and I couldn’t help but snag a photo of the anvil when I had the chance.

Starting to pack on weight now.

I’ll post the ADL when I feel I’ve sufficiently trimmed it :grimacing:
