Have you run any of the Tangie auto x OHZ?

…not yet, I’ve wanted too but the grow spot situation has been so damn unpredictable the last couple years I didn’t want to risk it. MadMac’s was very OHaze dom. in looks, faster by far than OHz but hardly “fast”. This cross is not well explored at all, so hard to say what pheno’s my show. Tangie auto was the mom, but the male OHz used has shown to be a strongly expressing boyo! I think 9-10 weeks in bloom…?

Good idea to test drive some big pots… What volume are you considering? As mentioned, the soil is a serious $$ consideration unless you’re making your own. Is there a more or less local place that can hook you up with a tote?

Did I also send Mother Lode x OHz? Grows of that got high praise as well…

My neighbor shot me a text about some of the gas station herb she and her bad reaction to it.
I told her that if she wanted grow something good outdoors that I knew would work, I told her I thought I could probably cover her.

Gas station schwag, talk about taking a risk! No joke as you know-- fentanyl, synthetic cannabinoid crap, etc. getting spiked into the"bud"…

Well actually, it’s 165 miles, with Dallas fairly much in the center.
After you leave Fort Worth going West, the terrain changes. My old farm was kinda on the edge of the more Western looking terrain and vegetation. The Brazos River It’s really kinda the demarcation point of the more Western like vegetation. The more Drought sturdy Live Oak trees are the dominant species.
The area around my farm is a little bit of an outlier in reference to soil conditions in the area. It was a very deep sandy to sandy loam soil. With the Brazos River being very close, I’m pretty sure that at one time the river deposited that soil on my property with a path. The soil generally gets thinner further West unless it’s in a valley.
It was also right on the edge of where big storms can begin. A lot of times we would miss out on rain when the storms formed right over or just east. The big huge Cinco de Mayo 1995 hail Storm formed just a few miles West of my farm.

My current place, less than two acres, has more trees on it than my whole farm…including the trash Cottonwood trees along my creek! HUGE pine trees surround the place. I’m kinda on the edge of the East Texas Pine Tree Forest.
Since I’ve moved, I’ve only been under a burn ban a couple of times.
I think the biggest reason why it’s such a pain to grow outdoors here is the lack of air movement. Even though pine trees don’t transpire as much as other trees, There’s a ton of them here. I think I would have a problem of growing cannabis in a neighbor’s field of about 70 acres totally open.

I ran crosses of Mullum with Nev’s Haze, strictly speaking:

(NevHz18 x Mullumbimby Madness pheno 1) x (NevHz21 x Mullumbimby Madness long flowering male)

This cross was made by OJD of Connoisseur Genetics, and the previous NevHz x MM crosses were made by Nevil himself, as part of his last ‘Grail’ project.

Both females very small, as I stunted them early, and were only started in October, harvesting in winter, Feb and March (IIRC).

They flowered for like, 14 and 16 weeks, respectively.

Top quality sativa ladies, a bit fox taily, trichs mostly on calyx, not leaf. Terps not strong, smells like ganja back home for me.

Two bong hits is enough, three is intense, fun, silly, chatting, sociable, a bit out of body (doing everything in the third person). Hits pretty fast, and gives me some interesting visuals at times, especially when looking at patterns and things like that.

Not sure how of that is the NevHz and how much the Mullum, but together, great stuff.

81 heirloom Florida skunk project from Katsu

I have a thread of these and his other skunk line on the old site. Ended up with what must’ve been a herm plant pollinating the whole tent so I freaked out and chopped early when my whole garage was covered in pollen one day. But still within his expected harvest window. Never found the pollen sacks… No seeds in the buds, but no scent or flavor either really. But after I dumped all the leftover plant material in the woods in my backyard my whole neighborhood smelled like skunk weed for 2-3 weeks. They woulda took about a month longer then expected indoors and might like some stress at the end. Long story short, my neighborhood smelled close to the skunk I remember from the 90s and I fucked something up. But closest my nose has come to skunk in forever by a mile
