I haven’t used it personally; but I’ve met growers that have that really liked them. You could probably baste chicken wings with sauce with ‘em too!

Curious, I try to be very gentle when trimming. I need to watch some YouTube videos!

There’s a decent amount of constantly changing variables depending how you wanna attack the trimming. Many think light n easy is an always thing..nope,definitely not..which is where the science in drying and curing also take hold..right next to how the moisture moves from center out.slows and changes into a dormant object. Yet living, the life slows n goes dormant. A fully moistened, or properly moistened bud shouldn’t just loose trics.tumbleweed kinda dry?!! All day li g you’ll drip shit everywhere for a variety of reasons.

I watched some videos, I can get down with that! I also think it depends on strain. Some strains may be perfect while others with heavier thicker branches and petioles might be an issue or require a heavier hand and or brush. But I get it

I also trim In Stages, sometimes not until I’m ready to smoke lol

I agree, now days I can chop all the stems and larger leaves off and have a plant down in 2-4 hours. Once hanging for a few days I might get some mid sized leaves off, and once dry I’ll get the sweet leaf off and strip the buds off the stem to jar/bag up.

I used to harvest by chopping a whole plant down then stem by stem manicure right down to bud and brown paper bag the buds, took days and days to get one plant down that way and risked mould setting in to the stems waiting to be worked on, plus I find I lose less trichomes if the bud’s drier. Lots of glove and scissor hash when wet drying, I’d rather it stay on the buds!

Once I had to move house the day after a huge harvest of Blue Amnesia (eventual 18oz dry), Chopped all the stems off and layered them in moving boxes with paper sheets between the layers like lasagne. Did the move (the removalists knew straight away LOL) and once moved I had to deal with boxes of sweaty wet plant material, and avoid mould etc. Bloody good gear in then end, but I had to work my arse off for it.

This brush broom might be good for that final bit of manicuring.

I use something similar that I made and it works great for trimming after I hang dry.

I thought it was a good idea at first.

The local hydro shop used to carry them a few years ago but lots of complaints of lost trichs, and after brushing still having to manually manicure anyways.

I’m curious to read how they work for you.

Couldn’t you just by a basting brush?

I probably could, but atleast I want it to do something instead of removing surface crud  and getting the bristles amazingly stuck and useless

Juat a quick update..its can actually work of you do it light..it essentially grabs the crusty dried smaller to medium leaves pretty easily and you can peel em back with very little trich loss that I saw.wanna try a half dry plant now..wet at this time I dont give a shit about..in time I’ll do those but more curious about the dryness of said pla lnt n how it handles it..but for those thus far I’d recommend..however the plant needs to be on the drier side of things anywho, will post more in time, just going with it currently.
