The Gas Chamber! Home of Killer Buds!

I do keep it in the grow room. This is actually my first attempt at worms so not sure on smell yet. I have done a good amount of research tho. From what I can tell the smell can be managed with proper care. Basically treat your worm bin like you would a plant. Give it the right kind and amount of food, keep it moist but not wet, and when you put food in work it into the top layer. Keeping some dry bedding close is good to absorb some juices and cover scraps to keep the pests away.

@WildBill Ive been hoping you would stop by and give me your thoughts on the worms. Youre what motivated me to stop procrastinating on it. I want to have a veg bin and a flower bin. Is that taking it too far?

The Gorilla Cookies was rough trimmed(lots of stems) and put in grove bags about a week ago. I had to go thru it all to get the stems out and break it down to buds. Then into the bowl trimmer for about 15-20 seconds per batch. It took about an hour maybe 45 minutes to remove the stems and trim 300g.

Which brings us to the final dry weight of the cookies. There is 299.7g of tops. I only took the top 4-6" of each cola this time. About 3/4 of a 5gal bucket worth of larf and B grade but it still has some stems in there. Im calling it 450g of scraps. I dont really count trim but with the bowl there is a bunch of good weed in there plus all the trichomes. Should make for good concentrates. The pic of the trim is off by the 21g of the bag, my scale shutoff before i got the trim in bag and lost the tare. So 97.6g of trim. 847.3g total. Lets take some off for the actual trash in the trim. Call it 800g of dry flower.

There’s no need to take it that far.

The red wrigglers are what you want.
You get great service from this company

This is the indoor composter that I use. I have two of them.
Unlike some of the other worm composters out there this one fits together well and there’s no shifting. It’s not flimsy.
You started off with just the first B and when that is finished and filled with castings, just add the next Section and put feed in it and the worms will migrate to it.
I’ll leave that bottom section there until it’s to use it. it gives the worms a place to go if I overfeed or something occurs in the top section. I feedpretty heavy with the homemade food that’s blend it up. I fed pretty heavy last week and after two days I had to come back, take some food for the other bin and spread out the remaining food and chipped cardboard. It started heating up.
I caught it soon enough and the worms were just moved to the outer edges. By having that bottom layer they can migrate down until conditions are better.

I get the bedding from here

Lets talk about the Seed Supreme Gushers sisters for a minute. These pics are from the morning of day 20 above ground for the soil run and day 23 for the hydro run. One thing I hadnt thought about or planned for is the bud structure of the strain. After looking into it Gushers normally likes to produce those golf ball nugs. If I get all the new parts to these scrog runs right the results are going to be very interesting Im predicting. Here we go.

This one will get the stake tomorrow night day 21 before lights out.

This one got the stake on day 21 as well. Both plants will be flipped on there own day 28.

Got some work done in the 5x5.

These 3 in the corner got some canopy work. This is the morning after with everyone looking happy.

The fruity pebbles also got a few more leaves removed to open her up. This is what I opened the tent for so I have the before shot.

Took the lowers off the strawberry soda a couple days ago. And she’s stretched into the light a few more inches

The toofless alien and white widow are just chillin. I haven’t touched these 2 in weeks.

Almost forgot the root porn. Took these a couple days ago and didnt post.

I saw these and thought its a good visual on air pruning. This root was chasing the nutes and ended up drying out. The lateral roots are the result. Inside the cube those laterals are going in all directions not just out the side like it looks in the pic.

More genetic building blocks for the vault. Crickets and Cicada website is very bare bones but you can google the abbreviations to get info about the strains if you arent sure what they are. Good additions to the regular seed stash

I found my way to this site after finding a post about a hashplant called puck. One giant rabbit hole of different forum posts later and I believe Mr Bob Hemphill has solid genetics. Overall he seems very well respected in the culture and is known for keeping the old school stuff untainted.
