The Gas Chamber! Home of Killer Buds!

I think a small part is the stress from the method. But either way, I’ve been recooking my soil between grows for about 18 mos. The speed might have a little to do with my soil, I have noticed harvest have been sped up by about a week since I’ve been reusing soil. Maybe it’s just my method, but I grow a few different ways,in a few different locations so I don’t know. I wait til I see 25-50% Amber, my preference, and I’m pulling 1.5-2lbs average out of my 3x3 every 60-65 days, six plants at a time. Usually 4-5 oz per plant.

Oh it’s possible to scrog in soil with autos, but I have yet to see anything near a single plant in rockwool with the same method applied. I really think photoperiods are the best for scrog in soil, but that’s my opinion, since you can control each step. The closest thing ive seen to getting yields like the 420method but in soil is SOG grows, making up the yield in numbers withing a designated space. I would love to see you pull it off! In fact if you can, I think a lot of growers will be moving back to soil! I’m always trying something different, experimenting etc lol. If you could dial in a method in soil indoors that repeatedly produces 1+lb auto plants in pots, you will have a following very quickly. I would be included in that following.

Stay tuned then! Lol! I’ll get that 1lb. That pic is a glueberry OG photo vegged for 5 weeks. But when I did the schwazz and net I lowered the light to 27 DLI and forgot to change it a few days later. She went all of flower with the 27dli and she got fairly pale a couple times from the small(5gal) pot and being hungry

I’ve seen monster in auto pots and automated soil grows so it’s all in your approach. I would grow in auto pots if I could afford it but living where I do with kids leaves very little in the way spendable income. Maybe I’ll save up and get one at a time and step up and get a res when I finally need one. This conversation has inspired me, I think I’m gonna save up and go for it. I will try it but I really like being able to grow multiple cultivars in a given space. So I will see how it goes. I think I’ll start with one!

I have an extra 2x4 and Ive pulled pounds in those before, not with single plants but the space is big enough. Itl take me time to get a light and all that. But you’ve I spired me! I’m gonna grow monsters too!

Well shit! Now its a competition. Nah I can’t really start another grow for a while.

Good luck bro!

Haha, I like your spirit! Last comp here I won 2nd place. It was the Dutch Passion Lemon Z grow off. @Dab took first if I recall. beautiful plants too, I wasn’t debating the decision. It will take me time to just get setup for another grow. Probably a couple months to acquire all the new gear and such. We could do a collaborative grow and share techniques and such and figure it all out as a community. Either way sounds fun though !

As they say,Soil is food in particular within organics..i got old pics of the original days with huge plants done organic and nothing really like it at that time. Living organics done correctly can duplicate damn near any grow method. But imho, and ime, some just don’t do it truly correct with balance of things. Some beautiful stuff happening here:ok_hand::victory_hand::eyes::fire:

I have no doubt whatsoever..but tbt,its pretty easy to do today. Wasnt as easy say,10 yrs ago or so.I failed often at mixes I’d make, get smaller phenos of genetics since let’s face ot..10+ yrs ago the genetics really weren’t there as compared to today..its insane really. And the info, knowledge and pre mixed options were also not readily available as they are today..its pretty amazing to see how much ots truly grown and changed..and you,and many HERE do damn fine work too:fire::call_me_hand: Respect :folded_hands:

Same genetics, but two wildly different levels of experience with auto flower plants

My gorilla cookies is coming along, but certainly pails in comparison to what you have going.

Keep posting Brother you’re an inspiration for sure. :folded_hands:t2:

Give me a few more runs and I’ll have this dialed I think.

You also have that awesome under canopy lighting, that I really want to get going one of these days.

I don’t know exactly how much that contributes to yield, but it’s definitely something

That girl is thicc tho! Chunky girl. You just need to get the training/timing down. A solid net with 3.5” squares will make a big difference. It gives you way more control over the plant. Any way I can help Im glad to. Just ask.

They dont get installed until end of stretch so the structure gets built without them. Theyre not necessary and honestly I havent seen anything that makes me say theyre worth it. But other growers paying more attention than me say it works and I have the extra panels not being used so why not.

Just stoppin by to see the progress. Heavy AF.

So the first few days of the heavy 16 line went well but the last 3 days has been fighting pH swings into high 6s. Like .5-1 full point in 24hrs type swings. I’ll spare you the details but it’s been a pita. I don’t think it’s been a big stall for the plant but it had to slow her down some. She started showing a few signs of the pH problems today.

If you aren’t really paying attention it probably looks like nothing has changed. It’s only been a few days so not dramatic but she’s doing some stuff even with the pH issue.

I had to go back to the first picture in this post to calm my fears of mold.

With that picture you can kinda see how much space is in between the branches. All the other shots make me paranoid as hell! LOL!

Hasnt even crossed my mind. But she is getting some work done today to thin her out just not for mold. Temps normally closer to 75f. The ac had just kicked on so room must of been warm. Tent door stays open to lung room.

The room is such a disaster Im embarrassed to share the pic. AC blows cool air across dehu mixing the dry and cool together. Sending it towards the corner and the oscillating fan. The fan blows into the tent door for a couple seconds at the end of its swing.
