The truth is that I still have flower from last harvest not trimmed yet. Ive still got 400+ grams of larf to trim for pressing. That wont be too bad pretty much just bucking it off the stems and getting them all out. BUT Ive also got all the tops from the 2nd blue cheese(stubby) to trim and Im not looking forward to that one. She had lots of leaves.

I like how everyone has some sort of rigged up gear in their setup. You with fans blowing over ac/dehu and into an unzipped tent for a couple seconds. If it works it works and we all figure out somesort of work around to get things where we want.

They have fire genetics, and if you’re after whatever is super popular at the time, they are the breeder to go to for sure. I, being the weirdo I am, try to find obscure flavors and terps and strains off the beaten path. Hidden gems or whatnot. I feel like there are a lot of outlier breeders that are overlooked simply because they aren’t using the newest dessert genetics and big name strains. Like what’s up, where is all the Auto Bull Rider??? Haven’t seen but one company that has one and they don’t list genetics so I doubt it’s even real. But yeah Fastbuds is fire!

Have you looked into the dry trim bags that 420 and I use? You can process a good 1/2lb in one go with fantastic results.

I know about them but havent really looked at them. My brain says anything other than hand trim will cause loss of trichomes. What’s your experience with them?

You loose a few Trichs sure but when you have a 1lb of weed that needs proper trimming, they can’t be beaten. I’ve never been disappointed with the results.

I have the trim bag pro, they’re not cheap but they really do make life much easier when it comes to harvest.

I havent been updating on the 5x5 very much mainly due to it being slow and Im not doing anything with them. The biggest maintenance has been keeping the humidifier full.
The whole tent sprouted in the same 24hr period. Today is day 24 above ground for everyone. These close ups are before the mentioned 2nd round of defol. At the end in the full tent pic its after the 2nd defol. I was being lazy and didnt get the close ups afterwards.
Fastbuds original blueberry has been the standout if you will of the tent. She was the first to get out of the rockwool and into the soil. I staked her top 3 days ago??? maybe 4 days ago. Also took 1 set of fans off the top at that time. Last night I took 2 more sets of fans to set those laterals free.
Toofless Alien stalled and had a slow start with the rockwool disaster but she is doing things. She got the same treatment as the blueberry.
Fastbuds original white widow also stalled a good bit. Shes in 3rd place here when it comes to getting out of the rockwool and taking off. She is the also the last in the tent to get defol and lst. Same as the others a stake and some big fans removed.
Grape Walker Kush was one of the sprouts that took the rockwool to soil poorly. She has looked sickly her whole life. Im guessing she has a weak root system so Ive left her completely untouched. Pre flower hit 3 days ago.
Wedding glue took a minute to get her shit together. She is finally getting close to some lst and defol.
Strawberry Pie is the helmet head victim. I wasnt even sure she would make it, now look at her! lol.
Dishonorable mention is the mbap and strawberry soda. Not the strains but my failed attempt at the rockwool. I tried for a minute to keep them going but stopped fucking with them a few days ago. No close up of them but they are pale and droopy and basically no development in 24 days of life.

I usually update so frequently that it feels like ages since a gorilla cookies update. Day 102 above ground. The reason for no update is because Ive been killing her for 10 days. The switch to the heavy 16 line was rough. It was foolish of me to switch without having every bottle of the line. The roots bottle is the “glue” that holds the chemistry together in simple terms. Without the roots in the mix the iron and calcium were precipitating out of the solution and the res was having severe pH swings of up to 1 full point in 24hrs. My reward for my stupidity is that the gorilla cookies lost 10 very valuable days where she was just trying to survive. She probably isnt going to bulk up like she could have.
The bottle of roots got here middle of the day Friday. Once I got the notification I left work and came home to mix a fresh batch for the res. Over the weekend the res has been stable and shes been taking advantage of it. Still looks a little rough but starting to comeback to life.

Question that you may can answer easily: how to handle a dryed up block? I fucked up wife’s plant on a hugo stacked on coco, upper hugohalf hydrophobic now. Clocked pumpline overnight… Is there a fix for ? She still has some days to go… - the coco keeps her going still somehow…

Youll have to water real slow by hand. Might be tough at first but keep some water on top of the block until it starts absorbing it again. Might try poking a couple holes in the surface to help water get into the cube.
