I don’t know how I missed this post, but damn! Awesome work bro! That came out caked in trichomes! Half pound is dope! That thing about no smell or taste is weird! Do you mean no smell, or generic weed smell with nothing else on top? Everything I’ve ever grown always has its own smell and taste. The difference I notice after a good cure, is that things get more complex, not really more intense. Everything I grow gets about a 10 day hang dry, and then gets a final trim and jarred up. Burped for a week or two. One week sealed and I’m smoking! A harvest usually lasts a little bit longer than it takes to grow a round. Me and my Mama share with a lot of the family. Everybody says the smell and flavor are tiers above any dispensary weed they ever had. I also heard the cannatrol strips the initial smell off of the weed. It will smell when you break or grind it up. But I don’t think it would improve the smell or taste any. Just make the drying/curing process easy and more hands off. Pretty sure that’s genetics. If it seriously has no smell, that is trippy as hell, and could be very useful for certain people in certain situations. Great job Homie, you’re getting some serious skills!
The “no smell until you grind it” part is really interesting. I’d also guess genetics before blaming the cure, especially if the texture and potency turned out fine. Did the smell come back after a few weeks in the jar?
