Dab Grows

Grim Reaper Day 15 of flower pulled her out to defoliate then remembered it was probably time for top dress. After getting her out she for sure does need it roots are starting to extrude the nute pile pretty good. So I piled it up pretty good this time hopefully have room for another but it’s getting pretty full. I really like the structure on her open enough with really thick branches no worry about her supporting bud weight

Man…open up that back left girl!!!
She’s begging for it!
Take outward pulls on all those real tall strong looking branches.

I tried some like you say those branches are really strong. I did as much as I dare without breaking branches and stressing her too much

You gotta do that kinda thing before flower starts… In autos it’s usually around days 20-30 depending on strain… Once flower starts, the stems start to get really woody, rather than the softer and more pliable stems during veg…

In my opinion, most people think to train the plant as an afterthought…when you really want to anticipate what she’ll do, and how you want to manipulate her. :smokeout:

Then again, that’s just, like, my opinion…man :baked:

Yup which I did got her set the best I could about a week before flower. She was a real mess till the other day 14 of flower when I removed half her leaves to get more light to the lowers. I did tighten up the wires the other day which opened her a tiny bit but she was pretty stiff and woody her branches are like a half inch thick

I’ll do a big defol at the same time I do the training, then again about every five or six days until she’s through stretch… This causes everything that gets light to reach up…

Yeah then I could probably do more defoliation. I kinda do the same but not as much once I flip. I always worry about stressing them l. Probably should do less leaves more often. I don’t really have set time i do it but am trying to get on a better schedule. Typically I’d just wait till I felt it was time rather then on a schedule

Well that’s a shame that it’s too stiff to work it. …NOT what she said.

It’s only 15 days in flower. I bet if you worked those stems down low with your thumb and forefinger, I bet you could get them to bend. You just gotta protect them from putting pressure on that branch were attached to the main stem.
But that’s just me. I like to train my girls.

Once the initial round is over…the next ones are just taking any big leaves she’s produced to shade lowers… It’s a fight…you vs her…she wants that apical dominance…you’re trying to break that…

Day 2 and 9 for the new @Jean-O ladies going to transplant them tomorrow. I’m gonna give two of them to my buddy hopefully get some more feedback from him too. I’ll have one of each Way2good, MJ-12 project, and (killing field x original haze) x Way2good

Looking excellent my friend. The Killing Fields x OHZ cross will probably be quite a stretcher in preflower.

What soil are those seedlings in? 3.0?
No issues with seedlings?
Ive heard 3.0 is “too much” for autos? So they made the 3.0 lite mix or whatever for autos allegedly?

I like the caster wheels idea
are these standard earth boxes or something else?
think im gonna switch over from cloth pots and see if it helps regulate humidity and of course enjoy all the other benefits.
l Didnt see buildaflower mentioned in your initial post. are you using it?
I like to mix that with craft blend and/or some ewc to keep that craft blend dust off the buds if topdressing in flower if needed.. that stuff floats all over the place
anyways.. looks nice and tidy!

First off these are Photos First round I did them in the boxes with 3.0 and a handful of heady starter mix. This last round I started in solo cups with 50/50 3.0 and heady start mix. I’m growing in EB Jr’s. No not using BAF just using craft blend, build a bloom, EWC, and CoM lobster Compost

While I haven’t direct planted in 3.0, I have planted very young seedlings, less than a week old, and had no problem at all. Some Mephisto girls.

I pop everything in my AC Infinity humidity Dome with light and heat mat. I use the cocoa coin at BAS, soaked in Rootwise inoculate. As soon as the seed head pops off, I began to harden them off. They are in there less than a week total from planting, so the root system is not going crazy out the puck.

They seem fine to me bro! :heart_hands: In the end you want some length in the bud in order to get some big flowers, tying everything down all the time, especially in flower limit the energy that they push into making those top cola’s big.. and with such big/tough stems you know there is definitely enough room for good energy distribution!

Nice ones mate :ok_hand: the PMK is already very open, I would let her do her thing now and don’t touch anything :rocket: The SIX x STC is a beautiful bushy lady! Cannot wait to see her stretch and produce some flower in the next few weeks.

All the best from me bro :oncoming_fist:
