Whats 3 things you know now about growing that you wish you knew when you first started

I used to water way too often because I thought more water = happier plants. In reality, letting the medium dry back properly (especially in soil or coco) helps roots grow stronger and prevents a ton of problems like yellowing, slow growth, and root rot

I thought any seed would grow fine if I just took good care of it. Now I know that starting with quality genetics saves you a lot of headaches. Im into The Seed Pharm autos lately and the consistency in germination, structure, and overall plant health is noticeably better than what I used to get from random bag seeds

That half of what other people told you are myths and bullshit. Even some of the older grow books contained garden myths!

And that many of the things we were told we can’t do/doesn’t work with plants is also is wrong! We’ve come a ways since then but the nonsense is still out there and thriving! Just go look at the gardening “advice” on youtube…
