NIGHTQUEEN's Dutch Passion Grow Adventures

That’s my BABY.

It makes all the difference in the world in the tropical climate I grow in.

And it essentially rips the humidity out of the air also.

So much so that I find myself actually using a humidifier for a bulk of my grow

While it might be pricey, how pricy is a lost or partitial lost harvest? So price is relative. And from expirience, the cheap options often ends in an upgrade and an unused unit (plus the hole that unit produced in the wallet). The good thing here is, you tested it - other than most reviewing youtubers, who often praise because of contracts…

Found a few options, some too pricy, some too cost intensive to run all day. I don’t like to add DIY solutions to bought items - ideally it works straight away out of box (after puzzling it together). Otherwise it’s always that one missing part in the equasion that delays a use forever …

You’ve a good point mentioned above, the continous setting . That’s the stuff nobody things about at first… than buys to regret. So lets say thank you for taking a punch for the team with that home depot purchase

Lately I have been leaning more towards “buy once, cry once” mentality.

By the more expensive item that you know is going to work rather than buying the cheaper option and being dissatisfied and having to buy something else again later.

Know that ALLLLL to we’ll

this was also my exact logic! I was tired of trying to DIY home equipment to work in a grow tent!

Always glad to help out the community that has helped me so much!!! :folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2:

Back from the festival. Enjoyed a few days off, hung up with some of my teenage heros backstage talking good 2 hours about growing and weed quality in the US, and about NYC Metal music scene in the 80/90th (those first hand stories, you never going to hear normally). Had a blast.

Sadly yesterday I found first 2 and underdeveloped seeds in one of the cured Pheno4 buds from last run. It’s the first and only find, yet it shows I must have overlooked the hidden banana during mid to late flower. Damn. Doublecheck on SMC in the tent now, though she looks delicious. She will need another week or so.
Fresh pics coming soon.

Anyways, while I’ll will keep this diary going, the upcoming DP mystery seed project will be documented in a seperate diary to keep things super clean to read with everything in the first post while making use of the chapter feature. Hope that’s okay for everyone. To me it just makes more sense!

Love to see it!

My only advice is make sure when you edit the post to add things in doing journals that way, that you ALSO comment on the post to “bump” it back to the top of the “recent” category.

Otherwise, it’s gonna get lost, as when you edited the first post, it does not count as any new information on it.

One thing I’ve started doing with mine :raising_hands:t2::grin:

Excited to see where you are next grow brings you!

good advice, thank you. have to figure out how this all has to be done exactly, I only saw it works for some of you allready. Probably scary at first, but then , once used to it, easy.

I’m excited for the next round , too. With another upcoming heatwave this week, I might have to start a few days later than planned to avoid cooking the seedlings.

This summer run seriously is cursed.

Noticed a strangely curled suspicious leaf in the dense buds of the tent SMC while searching for bananas. Voila…there we go , no banana but a rotten top instead. The foxtailing really screwed up the ripening - inside done and amber , outside still new white pistils every day while hiding the inside from serious checks. Taking some pictures now. Still a beautiful plant. at least on a picture. Maybe one of you comes up with an idea, I’m a bit emotionally overwhelmed at this moment to be honest and don’t wnt to make a not to the end thought through quick decission , which I might regret after execution.

The Big Lady - same issue. She’s hanging to dry now a week earlier than wanted, could have turned out better in total, it’s okay for collecting trichomes and make some hash, which was the plan anyways. Still , what a stupid 8 month waste in energy and feeding. let’s see if at least the reveg will be a success.

BUT this just strengthen my Dehumidifier purchase decission… Antonio was right: we shouldn’t grow without.

SBR left the tent days ago, tops turned out fine, now in final cure process. Lows and mids had another 3 days to finish, which was the right choice. Oldschool looking weed though, green, not purple. So whatever happens next, at least the jar is filled enough until next run is done.

Edit: here are the pics of the SMC in the tent.
