NIGHTQUEEN's Dutch Passion Grow Adventures

The tent now also features a vivosun under canopy bar at 25% to start with since 2 days, plants like it, wateruptake went up and temps also.

Previous talk about watering got me into rethinking strategy and friday finally I did some test measurements, checked the roots, gave her a clean pot without salt buildup.

Refreshed the medium with terra aquatica flash clean and dialed down the EC a ton on the SMC. Did the same with the other 2 (Sbr/pk) in the tent. They seem to enjoy it a lot.

i’ve also a loss to talk about. A night queen, that didn’t want to take off after last heatwave became the dinner for a slug. WOW… expensive snack. Hopefully she tasted good… R.I.P. - honestly I have enough outdoor adventure for 2026 allready with the vegetable plants and fruit trees.

I like the different views! This ones looking chunky!

Thx. This one is chunky and has the problem with the lower branch taking too much width in the tent… took some more pics, that come with a next update since all 3 ladies put on a lot of weight/mass and slightly changed appearance.

Thx for the feedback , Antonio! I’m looking forward to the mail of the announced drop, since I just heard that rumor about new goodies few days ago and also read the shipping notice email from yesterday full of excitement. Very cool, thanks for the trust and nice to be part of the DP family.

After Fedex letting me down and rescheduled what’s coming , I decided to update the diary here with some new SMC pics this morning. Day 43. Airflow on this plant is absolute free of any worry.

The topshot also shows a little suffering and cluttered SBR on he left and 3 buds of the Kush plant on the right.

the good thing , the 2nd heatwave incoming this weekend won’t hit my location that hard (if we trust the weathermodels, lol). the bad thing , there’s still too much humidity during night. 60-65% with fans blasting and inline fan on max.

Ringing Doorbell, alarmed dog, me just waking up (i hate that…)… something coming. Based on the dogs barking, it’s not a SWAT team , also not the arch-enemy,an overly aggressive white westhighland terrier of the neighbour.Surprizingly it’s the 3 days late yet for today too early kind guy from Fedex, who placed the package at the door and survived the dog barking behind the window by running back to the car. Well played Fedex, well played!

Thanks to DP for the seeds and the extra goodies sent, really appriciate it. Feels like a 5 month early xmas  New fire for the tent … soon.

First the ongoing fire needs another 2 weeks… so let’s pull the “two more weeks” card twice and do nothing but wait for it! SBR should be done even quicker. Breeder website says 50-55 days, which seems somewhat accurate to what I see on my plant.

SMC Pheno4 doing great. she packed on some extra weight and bulking up slowly, nice golfballs, these soft camo-greens with purple hues are fascinating again. She coming to an end but isn’t done yet, still lots of new pistels in clusters. Lows are little behind and yes, I could have (and should have in another setting) removed it on her to direct that energy towards the tops instead.

Tent temp during weekend stayed okay, , 28C still better than 30+… the heat and no rain helps to keep indoors in the 60ish % humidity during night, 45-50% during day.

I’ve dialed down input EC once more.
SBR got some problem by now. She’s near her end anyway, and now suffers from Calmag problems. Same feed, same everything as the other 2 ladies, which show NO sign at all. okay, there was one difference - I flushed her coco 30h-36h later than the kush and the SMC.
Well, it doesn’t matter now, as long I keep an eye on those fanleaves within the chunky , oldschool looking buds. Yeah she is good to go very soon (Day48 today) … and sticky enough.
Her leaving the tent soon will help keeping the humidity in the tent in the sweet spots a little better.

Kush plant doing nice. not very special, not extreme, just nice dense buds which will take probably the longest in the tent to fully finish. But I might be wrong, just a guess - and i’m not in a hurry…

Wife’s Big Lady in the other room: WTF…just a monster. Pheno3 is packed with frost. low growth is a little “crippled” - simply too much going on , but those tops…just wow - just need to watch out for mold …and incoming bugs .it’s her 198th day today. What a ride so far. Can’t wait to take her out of the room to make the final images of her in total glory - the room sadly only allows for detail shots…

Speaking of Night Queen, I have 6 above soil right now! One looks iffy though but I only need 4.

Glad to hear you got the goodie package mate! :oncoming_fist: :green_heart:

Regarding the pheno3 from the wife, she does sound like a monster!

Any pictures to share?

As I said, nice pictures are tricky within the small and deep room - there’s no way to get a decent picture of the full plant at this moment. Will try some shots for a rough impression this evening. Won’t be masterpieces though.

The goodies are fun, thanks again! These beans look extra fire and I can’t wait to give them a go. If there’s additional infos of importance to them, please let me know!

here we go - at least to get an idea about her. Pheno3 - she has been through some stress and it shows but none the less, supercool plant.

Tent Day 49

(ignore the clutter on the tent floor, took pics before cleaning the mess - and while there’s nothing unfixable in post to make things look better, let’s keep things real - this isn’t instagram, lol)

Quite a big lady indeed! Looking nice though, going to be some proper bud for sure!

SMC P4 is foxtailing slightly since the last update. the price for the heatstress.stil better than mold.

SBR coming down this weekend - at least the big chunks (that potentially will ruin it, if I would keeping her another week or so) have to go. removed fanleaves , spaced out the branches for a last time to maximize airflow within the plant. Interesting smell, very loud.

That kush plant just does her thing. Frost coming too, slowly.

Checked on wife her monster smc - what a surprize, that loud smell. From all the 4 smcs, this p3 is another level in terms of aroma. Not better or worse - just different nuances. Even though she might have suffered from heat and lost terps at 35ish c, that amount of fruity and creamy. Penetrating…loud…nearly too much of everything but then, addictive smell again… or… dear neighbours, sorry, but not sorry …

Edit: had to remove the main bud of the kushplant - single leaf minimal curling caught my attention → budrot . checking later and tommorrow again… Which just ruined my otherwise optimistic day 51 of flower ;( anyway, SMC still fine , that’s the main project here, rest filled the tent only.

Very nice!I’d pull out the gray part of that cola and smoke the rest. I struggled with bud rot last grow, and powdery mildew, indoors and out. Still had a very nice harvest. After the grow I cleaned all surfaces with Windex, cleaned my fans, and painted the floor and concrete walls where they weren’t covered with reflective Mylar. So far so good this season.

Sad to hear about the budrot. At least you caught it and can address it.

yeah, I agree. the problem is a known, identified and fixed for the moment and still… it just hurts to see every time it happens, even it’s just on a single bud  . And it puts one into the “triple check every 5 min” paranoia…all the “what if” that goes through the head.
At least wife agreed with the need of longterm counter action in future grows to battle the humidity , so we are ordering a dehumidifier.

good to hear you’ve no issues this season so far.

I don’t consume that part of crappy molded weed (that rotted bud in total ), the plant isn’t fully trash , just this bit - there’s more than I can keep anyway. If it’s moldy like that or with PM, it’s not even going to compost but straight into the bio-trash to be picked up. Powdery Mildew to me is another high level endboss - last run Day 60/61 of 63, run before same shit last minute also. but I’m on DAy 51 - there’s still 7 days to go for the mildew and the weather just swings towards PM’s favorite conditions. Not sommoning demons here, I try just being realistic while predicting the future. like I said above, optimism gone a little for today
